2016 Jaguar XF
The 2016 Jaguar XF is a midsize luxury sedan competing in a market full of excellent rivals. Yet it manages to stand out for its combination of grace, style, and panache. Available with one engine in two tunings, with either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, and in any of four trim levels, the 2016 XF is an all-new design of a recent British favorite.For 2016, Jaguar changed little about the XF's exterior save for a few modest upgrades to enhance the car's already beautiful design. The saloon styling and old world appeal are counterposed by modern sleek and fast-paced lines. Most of the upgrades to the XF in this new generation are under the skin, or, to be more precise, are to the skin itself.
The Jaguar XF is now primarily made of aluminum ("aluminium" to you Brits), which greatly reduces the car's weight. The wheelbase of the XF has also been extended, though the body's overall size remains the same as it was before. These changes both improved the interior's space and the car's performance while also improving fuel economy for the sedan. A win-win-win all around.
The two engines offered right now, both tunings of a 3.0-liter V6, will be accompanied by a turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline and diesel option coming later this year.
