radio code please for a volvo xc 70 1999 wagon? - Just bought a used Volvo and after recharging the battery found that the radio had failed... Reading my manual I found that leaving the ignition on could put me back onto a blinking "Code" message.... But I don't have the code! Anyone who has a radio code for a Volvo '99 wagon....I believe it's a radio number SC-280...please reply! THanks!

Can't decide if should buy 1996 Volvo 850r 250bhp or the more sensible 2000 Volvo V70 XC with 4wheel drive , ? - The 1996 850r is theT5 basically, 1996 is old yes but thought they were quite rare but could be costly to run 3k pounds to buy,the 2000 Volvo V70 xc is about 5500pounds , its a 2.4turbo 200bhp so not dead either but more sensible with its 4x4 and fresher, any thoughts on these cars , yes the 850r is a monster but maybe I will tire of it quickly ,both probably only return 25mpg .

5 Seats or 7 Seats for Volvo XC-90? - I am buying an XC-90 and am trying to decide if I should get 5 or 7 seats. My wife and I have 1 child and a large dog. Thinking 5 seats with better area in back for the dog. But if we have more kids (a second is possible ...) would we regret not getting the 7 seater. Planning on owning the car for 7+ years. Thanks, Thanks for the answers, couple of points to be clear. Need to replace the old car, waiting for another year (or even waiting 3 months, not an options.) 5 Seat Pro - Seats fold flat, additional storage area. Con - Lower resale value 7 Seat Pro - 2 more seats, but only for kids (very tight back there ...) Higher resale Con - When seats folded down, there is a hole between the 2nd and 3rd row of seats, the seam, place probably a 6"x8" square in the center between the head rests. This could be an issue when the dog is traveling back there alone ... get his foot caught, etc. Thanks

How do these cars rate BMW X5 (year2004) and VOLVO XC 90 (year 2004)? - Also the BMW Touring (year 2003) as an alternative. I am considering either of these cars to buy. Any ideas ?

Should I Buy a Used 2007 Mazda CX-9 or 2007 Volvo XC-90? - Both cars are 2007 and have navigation system, sunroof and DVD and AWD. Volvo is not V8. Mazda is Grand Touring trim. Mazda has 20k miles; Volvo has 12k. Mazda warranty good until 1/10; Volvo until 1/11. Mazda=$21,500; Volvo=$28,000. Thanks for input.
