Im thinking of buying a a Volvo 960, is 263,109 mileage too much?

im buying it for $3000, very well maintained and serviced, clean records, how far can I still push this car?

There doesn't seem to be a fuse devoted to the alarm. thanks 2007-09-10 20:00:49 1994 Volvo 960 - How do I reset an airbag on the car? - I am thinking about buying a used 1994 Volvo 960. The current owner hit the guy in front of him and the airbags went off and the passenger side one broke the windshield when this happened (bad design in my mind, but whatever). I can find airbags in a junkyard for about $300, the car is $1500 asking price, but do I need to re-set something to have them work again? There is no visible damage to the car, I have called a shop that specializes in imports, they have yet to get back to me. I called the local dealer and they seemed confused by this and have yet to call me back and I called Volvo USA who told me to call the dealer! For $1500 plus $300 (airbags) plus $200 (windshield) I could have a decent car, but I want the airbags to work and I have no idea if it means replacing a $500 module or pushing a reset button. Now my W button (winter mode) is stuck down, the light is not on though, the light is on in the E button, the car kinda bucks and shutters really bad, The garage said something about a news transmission brain, but i am unsure what that is really going to do when the W button is still stuck down. I think when that button is down the car drives only in 3rd gear. Thanks for your expertise. 2008-07-29 21:01:43 how do I make my 1995 Volvo 960 plush ??????????!? - I just bought this Volvo on Wednsday, its in mint condition ... the car was a great bye in my opinion. the only thing wrong with it is... 1) the seat wont move back as far as I would like/need because the track that the electric seat slides back on is jammed or something ????? 2) the battery died today. Know the Sirius Satellite, radio, and pretty much all the audio stuff is apparently JACKED UP from having the battery die. guess the CPU has to be reset ????? 3) not a big deal but the radio antenna wont come up at all so I get no signal. how do I pull the antenna out ? pretty small issues exept re booting the program due to having a dead battery.......ANYBODY GOT ANSWER???? sure do preciate it 2008-11-09 19:53:50 |
