how can i decide between a kia forte or honda civic? - I test drove a honda civic, mazda3, and ford fusion... I had my mind pretty much set on buying the civic because i just liked it better... A few days ago, I saw a commercial for the kia forte so I decided to test drive it, the look, price, and features caught my eye... Needless to say, I like the kia forte a lot better. Compared to the civic, its cheaper and has more features and space. However, when this was brought upon my dad, he quickly refused and told me that he is not letting me buy a kia (he is somewhat helping me pay for it so he does have a say in it)because they have bad maintenance reviews, he is all about consumer reports and everything... The car did not drive bad at all compared to what he thought it to be... I really like the kia forte but I don't want to buy it if it is just going to break down more quickly then the civic, which is what he thinks will happen...

What is that Kia is so "junk" car to buy? - What is wrong with 2010 Kia Forte? Is Kia just wrong b/c its not "cool" or b/c its not one of few popular brands like Toyota, Nissan, Honda? VW supposedly has many maintenance problems yet it is more popular than Kia is that due to its brand name? So if Kia were to be bought out by Toyota, Honda or Nissan would then Kia be good car to buy? Isn't any car expensive in maintenance? Doesn't any car needs its oil, or brakes or tires to be fixed? Could you give me some good reasons not to buy Kia Forte 2010.
