HELLO We bought a 2004 ford freestar that didnt have the middle row seats in it. How do I know what kind to buy? - I'm looking online for seats for the van and I'm not sure if I need to buy a bench seat or two bucket seats. How do I know which ones to get? The van has doors on both sides, if this helps any. Thanks.

How do I install roof rack cross rails on my 2005 Ford Freestar? - I just bought cross rails for my 2005 Ford Freestar but there is no groove in the factory installed rails that run from the front to the back. If you do not know the answer is there a website where I could find an answer?

I bought a 2004 ford freestar, I only got one key, no remote! how do I tell if the van has a remote system? ? - I just recently bought a 2004 ford freestar that only came with one key! I know it has some kind of factory security system in it because every time I lock the doors and then close the drivers door, the parking lights will flash once! I want to find out if the was a remote for this van, I have 2 remotes from another vehicle that I might be able to use but I need to find out if this van has a keyless entry system or not. there isn't a key pad on the door like I hear that some freestars do. what can I do to find out? if it helps.. it's got all power stuff like windows, door locks and cruise, it even has power rear window vents!

We replaced the starter, battery, alter? - The ford freestar does not start after we replaced the starter, alternator, and battery. We bought the junk 2 years ago. my 1996 chevy lasted longer than this. I am just wondering if the computer system is fried

Advice on 2004 Ford Freestar please? - I own a 2004 Ford Freestar, I bought the vehicle when it had over 80,000 miles on it. Everything is fine, the transmission has never given out (thank god) maybe the previous owner had it changed. But till this date after 111,000 miles the vehicle is running fine and smooth the only thing is that the check engine light is on all the time, and when I'm driving for a long period of time the little transmission light blinks, I pull over to the shoulder wait 5 minutes or so and it disappears. If there any preventive maintence I should do? All I have been doing is regular oil changes. I am planning a 1,000 miles trip in Feb 2009 (should I chance taking the vehicle?) My freestar was built in Canada, is that a bad/good thing?

We bought a 2005 Ford Freestar. The power distribution box cover was left off. Can this cause problems? - We purchased a used 2005 Ford Freestar. We drove it home from the dealership, and when the car was shut off, the power locks started locking and unlocking on their own. My husband looked under the hood and found that the power distribution box cover had been left off, and water/snow had gotten in there. The dealership has been closed so we haven't been able to take it back yet. Today the vehicle won't start. Does anyone know anything about this power distribution box? Will moisture/snow in there cause it to not start? Additional Note: The cover was still under the hood, we put it on right away last night when we saw it was off. Will the whole box need to be replaced?

I want to buy a 2005 Ford freestar? - but the problem is I found a 2005 Ford Freestar Limited and it has 30328 miles and its in perfect condition but the thing is it is priced at $14,987 which is about $5000k more then kbb but I really want this car what should I do? dont tell me what to buy retard answer the question you fool **** you ok... 2004 Ford Freestar Heated Seat- Driver Side not working....? - I bought a used 2004 Ford Freestar Van with 76,000 KM on it. The passenger side heated seat seems to be working just fine, but the driver side isn't working. The light comes on when you push the button, but the seat doesn't seem to be getting warm. I'm wondering if it could be a fuse (or would a fuse control both) or a loose wire under the seat? Any suggestions? Thanks ;o)

Ford Freestar van problem? - I live in Mich and bought a used Ford Freestar in August. I am about 3,000 miles over warranty. I used a loan to finance this. I just found out that the transmission is broken. The dealership will split the bill but I still have to pay about $1,400. Is there a way to get out of my loan contract given this problem and just return the van? A bit harsh there. I did have it checked and it showed no problems. I am not balking at it, but checking options. If those options existed, then legally I could exercise them, just as the contract is exercised. We also have a lemon law but this does not cover it.
