i have just bought a volvo v40 and i am having some trouble with the turbo in it. can anyone help me with it? - i bought a 2000 volvo v40 1.9 turbo and it has treated me well, once i found out that everything is working correctly and fine i wanted to push my car using the turbo, at first it was amazing and never let me down, i could go nice and fast,but recently it seem that by the 3rd shift it slips or just doesnt work as well. do i need a new turbo? or should i get it looked at?

Why won't anyone buy my 2000 Volvo V40? - I mean... I can't figure it out! It's a nice car. It's got 89K miles. I only want $7500 for it. The private party value is $8200. It runs great. It is very, very clean. It's great on gas. It's classy. It has a lot of options like leather, moonroof, etc.

My 2000 Volvo V40 battery or alternator? - My Volvo V40 (2000) seems like it is always having problems. The check engine lights are eternally on for some reason or another, and I have to bring it to the shop every three months for various services. Anyone else had this problem? Now it seems my battery which I replaced 1 year ago is not getting charged properly. It takes three or four tries of just clicks before the car starts. I am not a motor-minded person. Please help? I bought this car because I had heard Volvos were good reliable cars.

Does anybody know where I can buy a catalytic converter for my volvo v40 from? - Hello there, Gypsies stole the back part to my catalytic converter on my Volvo V40 diesel estate (2001) model. I am having problems finding a new one, I searched online and can only seem to find cats for V40's up to the year of 2000, not the newer model like mine. I even looked at big companies like euro parts but they didn't do it. Does anyone know where I can buy a back part of the catalytic converter for a 2001 model v40 diesel? I don't have alot of money and would like a second hand one or copy part if possible. Any help would be very much appreciated, thank you

I'd like to change my Volvo V40. Any suggestions? - I'd like to sell my Volvo V40 because of its old age (13 years) and buy another estate. I love Volvos, never let me down, they are very reliable and safe. But I think I need a little change. What do you think about Audi A3 2.0 TDI or BMW 118D. Any suggestions?

I really want to buy a Volvo V70 or a V40. What should a buy, and why? - I currently own a Ford Galaxy ghia x. I have three kids, but now they have grown up slightly i dont need quite as much room for buggys and travel cots etc. I want a car with a good sized boot, but something which has the power to bring a bit of enjoyment back in my motoring. Which of these cars is best, and do you have any other cars to suggest?. I should be able to trade my Galaxy in for around £1500 and dont really have money to put to another car, so a straight swap will be needed. Please help, thankyou.
