HELLO How to use Volkswagen Routan MP3 Player? - We bought a 2009 Volkswagen (VW) Routan this past month. There is a USB port in the stereo system. I was told that is where we can plug in my mp3 player but it isn't working. Anyone ever used this option? What am I doing wrong? Okay, DUH on the owners manual. Really? I think I did that. There is no info on how to hook it up. I also Googled the question and did as much other research as I could.

We bought a 2009 Volkswagen Routan in Nov. 2008, in shop 2 x's already, it went again, can we take it back? - First the ignition went after just one month and then we were left driving their rental for a month, got our vehicle back and then after, I'd say, a month, the power steering hose busted, we had to take it in again, they fixed it in a day, but we had a rental for the two days. And now, going into our fourth month, as new owners, the ignition has gone again. They probably have to order another one from Germany like they did the last time. It looks like we will be waiting another month for our vehicle. Our question is, can we just take it back and cancel the contract due to a malfunctioning vehicle or get it replaced with another Routan. Please help us, we are quite confused and getting depressed and stressed out. By the way, we live in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. WOW! All your answers were great and very helpful. I can't choose between the answers, they were all helpful and the are all the best. Anyway, I phoned VW Customer Relations and I am expecting an answer this Thursday. We plan on canceling the contract, if we can or get another vehicle. Either way, if we don't like the results, we have the Lemon Laws to fall back on, wicked. Well, thanks for all your help people. You guys are GREAT!!! I know how to take charge of this one now. :D
