I am considering buying a Toyota Highlander Hybrid and need input?

I have heard a rumor that if you are running on only the electric motor that the A/C won't work. Is that true? If it is it would be a deal-killer for me as it gets too darned hot here in the summer. I can't think anyone would choose no A/C while sitting stopped at a traffic light! How are they otherwise for comfort, real world mileage, etc?
Of course the A/C will work if the gasoline engine is on- but that defeats a lot of the purpose of getting a Hybrid!

Can anyone tell me about the EMF levels in Toyota Highlander-Hybrid as opposed to Ford Escape?

I am thinking of buying a new Toyota Highlander-Hybrid and I've heard the EMF levels are lower than Ford Escape. Anyone out there concerned about this? HIghlander costs much more, Escape gets higher MPG, but I'm concerned about my health.

Where is the coin holder in this car? Is there one? Where is everyone putting their change. I traded in a Ford Explorer that had tons of compartments. The ash tray in the Highlander is too small so guess it has to be the cup holder for coins? Any ideas very much appreciated. Maybe there is something or an accessory that can be bought that would sit down inside the cup holder? This is my only disappointment about the Highlander is that it is so much smaller than my explorer. Only time will tell for me...

the vehical costs 31400 $. if with options I that costs $ 6275 as per toyota website and added rear dvd entertainment system it costs 37675$. How much is the cost for this vehicle out the door.
