Should i buy the 89-92 Toyota Cressida? As im only about 18 and planning to tune it and maybe go to the tracks - and do some drifting? Should i consider buying this vechile as it cheap and is very popular with tuners and very powerfull could be swapped with the 2JTZ supra engine??

i saw this toyota cressida for $200 i'm thinking of buying it but it has little promlems. should i buy it? - the owner didn't drive the car for like 2 years so it might need tune-up and also the gas pedal does not go all the way down which reduces the speed, the brake light comes up when driving the car and also it needs inspection ticker for PA. Should i buy the car cos i need something to get me around now. The engine and transmission works perfect.

Should i buy 1989 Toyota Cressida? - This would be my first car. It has only had 1 owner and he is a mechanic, head and timing belt serviced about 6 months ago It has done 280, 000 KM (about 180k miles?) and is going for $2000 AUD ($1400 US?) Not to good with conversion Good condition no sratches, new tires, air con works, power stearing etc. Advice? Cheers

What else should i do to my 1985 toyota cressida to have it running good? - there wasnt anything wrong with it, it just needed a tune up badly. i changed spark plugs and wires i used NGK, i did an oil change, new tranny fluid, i bought a K&N drop-in, i cant think of anything else to do, since im going to be using it as a daily driver.

Also mechanicaly the car runs great. The a/c needs a commpresor( $600-800) but then again, if you buy this car you probably are just looking for basic transportation and that won't be a problem. So what do you think, thanks!

How hard is it to do a transmission swap on a 94-98 Toyota Supra? - I recently bought a Automatic 95 Toyota Supra. All the Stick Shift ones were really expensive and I figured I can by a manual transmission and swap it out. However I don't know if it's going to be that easy. My friend did a tranny swap on his 87 Toyota cressida and said it wasn't too hard. All you needed was another different motor mount for the front and the clutch and cables. How much will it cost?

How much does it cost to fix a bad drive line? - I am about to buy a toyota cressida and this guys says that the drive line is bad and needs to be fixed. He wants like 300 for the car and another 300 to fix it. I'm know alittle thing about fixing cars but can I fix it myself? Or can I take it somewhere else?
