Saturn Relay Questions & Answers from Yahoo! Answers
HELLO
Looking to buy a 2007 Saturn Relay or a 2007 Saturn Vue. Which is safer?
-
We do have 2 toddlers so we are trying to think of safety.
2006-12-15 09:58:58 Does anyone out there own a Saturn Relay? - I purchased a 2005 Saturn Relay...I really love this car. It has everything that I want and need in a vehicle, it had less than 19,000 miles when I bought it, still in factory warranty...however...Saturn corporate has had to extend the manufacturers warranty because we have been to service sooooooo many times with it. One thing after another goes wrong. Not a joke, I am down at service at least twice a month for things going wrong. Just curious if anyone else has one and what are the issues that you have? 2008-03-18 09:40:57 where is the starter motor relay located in a '97 saturn? - 97 saturn sl2 automatic. i took the starter in and it tested ok, so i bought the relay hoping for an easy fix. i can't find the old one to replace. not in either fuse box on the firewall or under the radio. The starter works fine until i bolt it in the bellhousing, then it clicks. could still be a bad starter considering the test doesn't put it under a load. i have also rotated the crank to try a different spot on the flywheel. hooking jumper a cable from the starter worked. the ground at the battery was corroded. thanks 2008-08-18 08:33:29 What's the deep "clunking" noise in my 2007 Saturn Relay #3, when I go over small bumps like railroad tracks? - The van is a 2007 with 19,000 miles on it. Bought at an auction as is. The noise sounds like it's in the rearend. The shocks and rubber bushings seem to be intact and in working order. Muffler is tight. Bolts and nuts are tight. The rear axle has a round "tortion" bar inside of it, is it possible there could be a broken, unseen weld on that or somewhere else? Anyone had any similar problem like this even on a different model? spare tire is tight. 2008-06-02 16:08:00 has anyone received a refund yet for GM's new powertrain warranty? - One month after buying my new Saturn RELAY which I absolutely love, GM upped their standard powertrain to 5 yrs/100,000 mile for 2007's. Anyone purchasing the extended warranty before the announcement is supposed to receive a warranty, just wondering if anyone has gotten their's yet and how much was it? 2006-10-26 20:45:08 HELP! Is my car a lemon? - we bought a saturn relay in 2005 while under warranty we repeatedly since we first got it we had to have it worked on because the service theft system light was on causing the key less entry to go out. then the doors open beep would go off while driving when the doors were shut. we had it in about 8 times. could this qualify as a lemon. it's been going on since we very first got it. argh! 3 hours ago - 3 days left to answer it was new when we got it i live in kansas 2008-08-20 18:24:45 lemon laws (live in kansas)? - we bought a saturn relay in 2005 while under warranty we repeatedly had to have it worked on because the service engine light was on. then the key less entry would go out. then the doors open beep would go off while driving when the doors were shut. we had it in about 8 times. could this qualify as a lemon. it is getting on our nerves. i meant service theft system not engine sorry this has been going on since about a year after we bought the car we have had it in 6-8 times since 2 times per year at least 2008-08-20 15:17:39 Saturn SL2, should I buy it? - so, i drive a 1996 lumina with 196000 miles. it's not a bad car, it's ugly starting to rust in the rear and will need a new cv boot (if not the whole joint) soon. (It gets 25 mpg when I drive). The company I work for is eliminating it's old company cars. They have a 1997 saturn sl2 that they are looking to trade in on a new civic. They took it to the dealer and they said they'd give 500 for it. My boss who is a good friend said he'd sell it to me for the same. Should I buy it? It's a 5 speed sl2 with 178 k. He said it gets 40 mpg on the highway. the car has had EVERYTHING break except the engine, clutch, tranny, and some of the suspension. In the past year the radiator, alternator, exhause, tie rod, wheel balancer, fuel pump, horn relay, and some little stuff has failed. I figure for 500 bucks i can't go wrong and the car seems that nothing else can break. It was used for driving from minnesota to illinois, taking advice, never owned a saturn before. Is there anything that is going to fail that i need to worry about? Common problems on these cars? other than driving a chick car that is obviously "if it ain't broke don't fix it", doesn't apply on here. Screw It and do it. thanks guys 2008-04-03 13:20:09 I am getting ready to buy a van. I am looking for the best van for the least money. Pros/cons for these cars? - Kia Mazda MPV Saturn Relay 2007-05-23 11:04:29 Help Me Figure Out if I should finance a car or not!? - Here is the deal. I currently finance a Jeep Grand Cherokee and pay $400 a month. We have 2 kids and I am looking for something a bit cheaper. We make 4-5 long trips a year. There is a Saturn Relay at the dealer that I am considering. It will cost roughly $350 a month. Should I get this van - payments would be $50 less- the dealer is assuming the Jeep obligation. or should i sell my jeep privately, hope i cover the remaining balance and then buy a $4,000 car with my tax refund in january. My two reasons for doing this are 1.) money per month out of pocket in payments and gas and 2.) convienence for long trips 2006-12-20 16:57:07 |
