HELLO Is it worth buying a Saab 93 convertible 1999 for about £2000? - For £2000 how many miles should the car have done and are Saab 93s of that age reliable? What should I look out for? Any advice would be great?

Buying a new Saab, are dealers the only choice, or is internet a possibility or buying from Europe an option? - Its my old man, neither he nor I have ever bought a brand new car before. Buying new is his retirement present to himself, plus the dealers seem to have a good deal on finance (3% APR). Can you bounce dealers off each other, plus have an old car to part-ex, although not necessary if the deals better without. Is it better to wait until the end of the month? Any tips or advice gratefully accepted. We are based in London...

I am interessted in buying a newer, but used 4cyl Saab convertible. What are avg prices in US newer than '97? - I currently own the '97 Saab 950 turbo. It's having lotsa probs, as 11 yr old cars will. I love the car and want to find something similar and as fun, but reasonable and decent on gas mileage as well as the environment. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
