I'm thinking about buying a Porsche 944 Turbo? - I have about $4,000 and I'm working on growing that sum to something larger. I've read that the timing belt has to be changed every few years and that I'm going to have to maintain the car since it's from the '80s, but other than that I'd love to get this car. I've heard that this car's value is as low as it will be and will soon become a classic. I also discovered that it was made out of Audi/VW parts. Can I use Audi/VW parts on this car to reduce the costs of buying Porsche parts? Is this a good idea? Thanks.

Any ideas why some folks don't recommend buying a Porsche 911 Targa as opposed to a Coupe? - I like the Targa top model but the market value for the Coupe seems to be higher and Coupes also seem to be harder to find. Why do some folks shy away from Targa's? Any ideas?

I am thinking of buying a D-Reg Porsche 911 Carrera Convertible.? - It has full service history and 56k miles on the clock. The history is mainly Porsche dealer, except for the last two services. The car looks to be in excellent condition. What kind of price should I be paying for this car, and what are the main faults I should be looking for when buying this car? Question about buying a porsche boxster? - If I am looking at a 2000-2002 model what milage should it have. I have heard that these cars need to be driven so 70-80k would be right. Is it really a negative if they are 50k miles or less. Also if I pick a automatic transmision will that insure that it wasnt thrashed at high revs. Thanks
