HELLO Any ideas why some folks don't recommend buying a Porsche 911 Targa as opposed to a Coupe? - I like the Targa top model but the market value for the Coupe seems to be higher and Coupes also seem to be harder to find. Why do some folks shy away from Targa's? Any ideas?

I am thinking of buying a D-Reg Porsche 911 Carrera Convertible.? - It has full service history and 56k miles on the clock. The history is mainly Porsche dealer, except for the last two services. The car looks to be in excellent condition. What kind of price should I be paying for this car, and what are the main faults I should be looking for when buying this car? I saw in some races that the GT2 had like 986 bhp and i was wondering how i could do that because i have all the stage 3 parts in it and i can only get it to 752 bhp.

Looking to buy used Porsche 911, which year? - I am looking to buy a used 911. Have around $45k to spend and would get anything from mid 1980s to 1998. I know I could probably get a 2005 for around that much but have heard that the 993 was the model to get if buying a used one for around that much. Any thoughts? Thinking of buying used Porsche 911 need help? - Choices are either 8-10 year old 996 model with around 60,000-80,000 miles for around £15,000 - £20,000 OR 5 year old 997 with around 40,000-60,000 for around £30,000. Love both - would like to spend less but other than older shape will the 996 cost more to maintain due to its age and extra mileage??? Any other thoughts and what is average maintenance cost on these 911 models a year??? Thank you in advance

Is it possible/advisable to buy a used Porsche 911 SC in Eastern Europe? - Porsche 911 I'm a diplomat living in Lithuania and want to buy a late 70's/early '80's 911 sometime in the next few years. I was thinking I might be able to pick one up here as goods are usually cheaper. But I really don't see any older models on the road, not do I see many classifieds here. If anyone has any experience/thoughts on this, it would be most welcome.
