HELLO How do I bleed the brakes and master cylinder on a 98 Pontiac Trans Sport Montana edition? - I've never bleed brakes before. I've heard that vehicles that have ABS have to be bled in a special way. I'd rather not go out and buy the service manual if I can get this question answered here. So how do I bleed the brakes and master cylinder on my 98 Pontiac Trans Sport Montana edition?

$2,995 for a Pontiac Trans Sport? - Is this a good price because my family is considering buying one? It's a 1995 Pontiac Trans Sport SE, Green, aluminum wheels, Gray leather, Factory CD Player, Sunroof, Power sliding rear passenger door, and with 135,000 miles. I'm not so sure about this because when we went to test drive it, the rear passenger side wheel wasn't turning, but the dealer said it had something to do with the ABS(?) and that they would get it fixed. So please tell if this is a deal or not, because otherwise the vehicle is in excellent condition. Also, The dealer was open to any offers since it was there for some time and they would give a couple hundred more than other places.

Delco Radio Question? - My parents recently bought a 1995 Pontiac Trans Sport SE. The problem is that when we're driving, the radio station will randomly go to different stations, and then lose control of the radio. This is the same when playing a CD, it'll start playing but occasionally it will go though the tracks and stop on a random one. It is a factory unit and we don't want to get an aftermarket one. If anyone knows what is wrong with it and/or how to fix it, please answer. Thank you. Yeah, it has steering wheel controls and the buttons do random functions. Like pressing seek down would turn the volume up and so on.

HELP! Coolant has been leaking on my ignition control module. Anything I can do insteaed of buying another 1? - I have a 98 pontiac trans sport with a 3.4. #1 has been misfiring, and I thought it was the coil pack, but it turns out there was a coolant leak, which was spraying right onto the side of the bracket the coils mount to. It's called the ignition control module. I'm guessing the coolant seeping inside is causing a short. A new one is $100 to $200. I can't figure out how to open it. If I put it by a heater, will the coolant dry out? Or is there anything I can spray into the same place the coolant is seeping into that might diffuse the short? Or anything safe to soak it in that might diffuse the coolant inside? Any other ideas? To the first answer: Is it safe for WD40 to get inside the unit? What does the light bulb do?

need some info about few american muscle cars ( Trans am)? - Hi I'd like to buy an american sport or muscle car, I dont have too many options in my country. I can find Trans-am , Camaro Z28, Pontiac lemans 1974& around and Charger 1973. anyway I mostly think about Trans am and lemans. But I'm not really looking for trouble, I want to know if automatic gear box is OK! or manual is better? what about engine? what do I have to pay attention to? I expect good power. I really enjoy it when I drive my father's mercedes 300SEL 6.3, I really feel the power of 300hp. but I heared that a Trans am with same engine cap. is under 200hp. and what about fuel consumption? which model by year is best in general? 1976-77-78? will I hear loud engine sound? because I like it thank you

WHat is a good cheap auto insurance? I am an 18 year old male....yes I know I'm screwed.? - It is bad enough having insurance when your a teen male, but when you have a sports car with a V8 in it...well it gets a whole lot worse. I just bought my dream car (a pontiac trans am) and now I would like insurance so I can drive it....the car cleared out my savings(im a senior in high school so I didnt have a whole lot to begin with). I heard viking insurance is good , but IDK. I want to have decent coverage, but also not have my whole paycheck go to them either. anybody have any tips or know of any good insurance companies. ps and no i dont want to sell my car and buy some Civic lol

Which muscle/sports car should I get? - I want a sports car, but I just can't decide which to get. I don't want any imports, although I respect how much power they get out of those cars. I don't want to buy a new car, because it's way too expensive and they don't run like older ones. So, I narrowed it down to about two cars. The 1978 Pontiac Trans Am Firebird and the 1984 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. I just can't decide between those two. I like them both a lot. Any information, help, or guidance is appreciated.

Can I bring an American sports car to Italy, France, or Germany? - My dad might be getting a job in Dubai ( I doubt it though), and my family may move to Italy, France, or Germany to be closer, and to experience another country. My mom has a 2000 Ford Mustang V6 convertible that we are thinking about bringing if we do go. She don't want to buy a car over there for the year or two he will be in Dubai. We are thinking about trading the mustang for a 1998-2002 Pontiac Trans Am though. And if we can bring it, how much would it likely be? Thanks!!! :-)

Leather seat replacement. Help Needed!!! - I'm fixing up a '93 pontiac Grand Am and the seats are in need of replacement. I would like to change them with leather and something with a little support. The stock one's are not very comfortable. I know that the trans am's from the 1990's have nice leather seats. Will any of these fit in my grand am? Can anyone think of an alternitive? I've also considered buying leather covers and adding a little padding when installing them, but I'm afraid that the covers won't fit right with the change in seat measurments. Also, if it matters. My car is a 1993' pontiac Grand Am 3.3L V6 sports sedan (4 dr.) I'm also able to work with different colors of leather, just nothing bold. Thank you.
