HELLO When should I do my first oil change on my pontiac G5 2007? - I bought a Pontiac G5 end of July this year. I got to 6000 kilometers today, oil life is still at 50 % ? Arent you supposed to change oil every 5000 kilomerters or or 3 months ? should i change it ASAP ? Thanks for the info, but does anyone have anwer as to why my Oil life meter still says 50 % ?? Also I though you had to wait longer for the first oil change?

Cruise Control on an 07 Pontiac G5? - I'm looking into buying a Pontiac G5. I noticed it doesn't have cruise control as a standard feature.Spending almost 1200 dollars more you can get cruise control as well as anti-lock brakes, a cargo net, and some nicer wheels. I don't really NEED all that stuff except for the cruise control, (i'm trying to keep the cost down) but would be be worth it just to get the package? How much would cruise control be installed without all that other stuff? also, i know the chevy cobalt and G5 are virtually the same. Which would you prefer and why?

problems with low revving on pontiac g5 gt with aem cai.? - hi, i bought a g5 gt from pontiac like almost a year ago and just after i install an aem cold air intake some problems happened. first when i just turn it on for first time of the day and i shift first (doesnt matter the gear) and going at a speed of 15 miles and accelerate like to quarter or halve the pedal, the car deccelerates instead of accelerating. if i drive the car 15 min. before stepping at the gas to quarter this problem doesnt happen. and when i am driving and i clutch it the revolutions go lower than normal, they go like to 500rpm and then they go to to normal 850. this problem gets fixed too after some 15 min driving but when i turn on the a/c both problems show again until i drive like 20 min. please somebody tell me whats happening with my car and how to fix it. should a sportschip fix this? or an ecu upgrade? because some people tell me that its because some sensor doesnt detect that i have a cold air intake and its making a wrong air/fuel mix. is this true? thanks.

Should I buy an Acura RSX or Pontiac G5 Coupe? - I currently have a 03 Olds Alero and the lease is up in June. As much as I have loved it, I'm fed up with putting new brakes on it (4 times in as many years) so I will be giving it back. I'm torn as to what car to finance next. It's between a 2003-2005 Acura RSX or a new/2006 Pontiac G5. I love the RSX and the fact that it's foreign so less maintenace costs really appeal to me! However, the G5 is less insurance and a new model year for the same price as a used RSX. Being a GM car, I'm worried about buying into the same problem as I have now with my Alero (brakes). I live in Canada so it gets snowy (although...not yet, which is weird) so that might matter with the Acura. Does anyone have any insight they could impart? I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

Keep 2006 Focus ST or buy a 2007 Pontiac G5? - I currently own a Red 2006 Focus ST with 18,000 miles on it and it is loaded with every option and is a five speed. I am upset with its fuel economy as I am only getting 23mpg overall. I have the oppurtunity to purchase a brand new Silver Pontiac G5 with a 5speed with a lot of options minus a moonroof and ABS and have the same payments as I have with the Focus for the same length of time. The G5 gets 32mpg overall do you think I should keep the Focus or go with the Brand new Pontiac which is the same as the Cobalt?? Thanks for the help. PS which one would be better to modify aftermarket?? Thanks a lot

What car should I buy a 2007 Ford Mustang or a 2008 pontiac g5? - I want to buy a car, but im struggling on deciding which one, since I own a pontiac grand am at first I decide to buy a 2008 pontiac g5, but one of this days I was looking at a dealer and I see this mustang 2007 at the same price that the g5. ps. I like the look of the mustang but some people says that ford cars dont work properly.
