Pontiac Firebird Questions & Answers from Yahoo! Answers
HELLO I'm intersted in buying a 1994 pontiac firebird but not sure if it's good for a high school student? - Car has 120,000 miles, automatic, good VISUAL condition. Owner says it has no problems. I'm just wondering if I will be reliable for a student on the go. the car actually has 183,000 miles on it.

buying a 1985 pontiac Firebird? - So here's the thing, I'm looking at an awesome looking 1985 pontiac Firebird, and am so tempted to buy it! It's being sell for $900, with 230 000 km and is 2nd/3rd hand. Has anyone have any experience with Firebird? Like what's the most common problem with them and what's good about them? I care a lot about acceleration too.... THANKS!

Do you think it's worth buying a Pontiac Firebird for $4000? - It's a '98 firebird it's in fairly good conditions. The owner was a girl so she wouldn't really run the car. It has around 150,000 miles maybe more. It's been crashed once, but it wasn't a big crash and it was repaired. The crash only damaged the body not any important things. The seats have no tears and the dash has no cracks. It's also a T-top and the tops are in perfect conditions. It only has minor tears on the material that covers the roof. So is it a good deal?

Pontiac Firebird engine question? - I'm thinking about buying a pontiac firebird with the V6 engine and then puting a 383 stroker in it with a beefier tranny but i'm concerned that it wouldnt fit or i would have to do some major modification to the car for it to work... I would like to know from someone with experience if this is possible and how well it works.

Is 90,000 miles on a 1999 Pontiac firebird ok for a used car? - I am planning on buying a used 1999 Pontiac Firebird. The car rides good but the only thing that bothers me is that it already has 90,000 miles on it. On an average maintained firebird, is 90,000 mies close to the end of problem free running? Also 5000$ (inclding dealer fee, tax and everything else) a good price?

95 Pontiac Firebird leaking oil and check engine light is on? - I recently bought a 95 Pontiac Firebird and it has been running badly. I changed the spark plugs and the spark plug wires, then the coil packs, it runs a little bit better the Check Engine light is stil on and it is leaking oil in two spots, when you look under the car, one leak is coming from directly under the oil filter, and the other seems to be coming from the pipe that goes to the catalytic converter, or the oil could be dripping onto it perhaps, not sure there. Would a bad catalytic converter cause this? I'm sure that the oil filter needs to be changed but it kinda putt putts... I recently bought a 95 Pontiac Firebird and it has been running badly. I'm not sure how to reply to answers so here goes: I took it to a place so they can use the dignosis thing on it and it just kept popping up ERROR. So that was a no go. Mmm, looks like I'm going to have to fork over a ton of money to see whats wrong.
