HELLO I want to get a new car. I have been thinking about buying a Nissan Pathfinder. What do people think??? - Should I go with something smaller do to an increase in gas prices. If so give me some suggestions for smaller cars and any other SUV's people think are good and enjoy driving.

What would you buy? Nissan Pathfinder or Ford Explorer? - We are a family of 4 and want a COMPACT 3rd row automoblile. We looked at the bigger units like the Yukon but it's just too long a big. So we narrowed it down to the Pathfinder & Explorer. THey are very similar in price. I just want several opinions on which is better quality and will hold up with 2 kids the BEST!

1995 Nissan Pathfinder, I need some advice? - I just bought my 1995 Nissan Pathfinder 130,000 miles 4x4 and it ran just fine during the test drive and the first few weeks after purchase. Since then I have used it for two long road trips (240 miles). During the week it sits in the school parking lot. Now it has a developed a slight hick-up when driving down the street at speed and has stalled a few times when leaving a stop light. Freeway Driving --These hick-ups are felt sometimes at speeds of 65 or 70 MPH. Just very short burst where the truck loses power, maybe 2 or 3 tiny jumps in a half second, then nothing for several hours. I changed the fuel filter. This didn't help anything. Now what? I've heard to change or clean the following: Plugs and Wires Distributor cap replaced or cleaned? PCV value Clean something in the throttle body? Other??? The hick-up seems to have worsen, but this maybe because my trips around here are short 2 mile grocery store trip. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

How do we deactivate the ant-theft system on a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder? - A Sister at our church bought this 2000 Pathfinder r two years ago and it has been a great car, with no problems. She has no user manual or remote key fob. Yesterday the horn started blowing and lights started flashing after church when she opened the door; I disconnected the horns , but headlights and flashers come on for 2-3 minutes every 3 minutes. Wwe could not determine how the system got activated or how to shut it off. This has never happened during the last 2 years . She does not remember doing any thing different that would have activated the system. Also the ant- theft horn and antitheft light relays were missing in the fuse and relay compartment, so this might have been a previous problem.. Disconnecting the battery turns every thing off, but when the terminal is reconnected the lights and horn just start up again. Can someone with a Nissan Pathfinder manual look up how to shut this antitheft system off?. God Bless you and Best regards,
