Why government vouchers for buying Nissan cars? - So if we are all now part owners of GM why should the government (us) be giving vouchers for big discounts on foreign cars ? I realize its cash for gas guzzler trade ins but isn't it cutting our own throats to give Nissan and others our money when we have a huge stake in GM?

Buying a used Nissan in Florida and I live in Toronto...........? - I am buying a used Nissan Xterra from Florida and driving it back to Toronto. Really good deal, save about $5k, just one thing, I had to pay 6% Florida sales tax. When I register the motor vehicle in Ontario and pay 8%PST, will I then be re-imbursed for the state sales tax I paid, and if yes, how???
