I'm looking at buying a 2009 Nissan Murano - is $1k under invoice a good deal or should I keep on negotiating - I've negotiated with Dealers and have done my research on new car buying. Most sites state that any price under MSRP is good, and under invoice is great, but how low can I really go under invoice with theses dealerships? I understand there are many factors that play in this, (timeframe, hot sellers...etc). What do think?

Is the current Nissan Murano going to get redesigned anytime soon? - ok, my mom wants to buy a nissan murano but is afraid that if she buys it, in one or twos years the car is going to look old. I was just wondering because the murano has had the same style since 04 and might get a redesign.

Should I buy a Nissan Murano or a Ford Escape Hybrid? - I have narrowed it down to these two, and for the models I am looking at, the pricing is about the same. Murano is a much nicer/fancier car with a sweet interior and more bells and whistles. The Escape is the length/shape I prefer, gets great gas mileage, and offers a super financing deal (0% APR for 5 years, cash back, tax credit for hybrid). They both drive well. Downsides: The Murano is kinda long for me, b/c I have to parallel park often; The interior of the Escape is pretty lame, not what you'd expect from a $30k car. Thoughts?? I need to decide before the July 4th specials end. Added comments: The additional resale value of the Murano would probably be off-set by the interest I would be paying on the car loan over the next 5 years (Ford is 0% APR). Fords are cheaper to repair, but they will not last as long.

I'm buying a Nissan Murano..few questions...? - 1. Should I buy AWD or just 2WD? I live in Memphis, so no bad rain or snow. However, I have a boat we will pull with it on occasion..but its only 1500 to 2000 lbs. 2. How many miles are too many? Im thinkin anything over like 50k or 60k is a lot for a newer car. Im looking at 2003-05s. 3. I have a friend who sells cars and said he will sell it to me at auction price. I know obviously it's an auction, but is there a "guess"timate?! Like, how much do they typically tack on once it's on the lot? 4. I want to pay like 15k...cash...will that help me rather having a payment when buying it. I know dealers make money off the intrest they charge, so what will work in my favor? 5. Anything else i need to know?! Im a 20 y.o. female and this will be my first car to buy myself! Might buy an 07 Nissan Murano but everything is in miles (I'm from Can.) so is there a way to convert to km? - I might buy a fully loaded 2007 nissan murano but I'm from Canada and it was imported from the states so I don't like how everything is in miles not km. Is there a way to change the odometer to km without affecting the amount of miles?

Should I buy a 2007 Nissan Murano with 43K miles? - I am looking at buying a 2007 Nissan Murano SUV for 16,900. It has (among others) heated leather seats, a moon roof, rear view camera, Bose stereo, and 6 disc CD changer but it also comes with 43K miles.My husband and I are debating whether the miles out weight the other benefits. I say yes - he says no. Please help Thanks

Is the 2011 Ford Edge worth waiting for, or should I buy a 2010 Nissan Murano? - We are expecting our second child in January and I want to get a crossover vehicle. I like the styling of the Edge, but research shows that a model upgrade is due in 2011. I also like the Nissan Murano, but I am worried that next year will be a big leap forward in auto technology.
