Would you buy a 1986 Mitsubishi Mighty Max Truck?

I'm considering buying a 1986 Mitsubishi Mighty Max pickup for $500. It has 109,000 miles on it, and is a 5-speed manual. I can't seem to find any reviews or anything on this model. Anyone out there have any experience with late 80's Mitsubishi pickups?

Does anyone know where to buy parts and accesories for a 1986 Mitsubishi Mighty Max pickup?

My friend has had his truck in storage for several years and wants to fix it all up. He wants a hard bed cover, rims, etc. but is having a hard time finding the things he wants. Does anyone know where he can look (besides a junk yard, because he wants new stuff)? Is there anywhere that can make a custom bed cover?

I have a '83 Mitsubishi Mighty Max diesel pickup and the glow plugs don't seem to work. Any ideas?

I bought the truck about 3 months ago and the plugs were new at that time. There is sufficient power (12.5v) from the manual glow plug switch in the cab to the plugs, the battery is drawing adequate power, and the plugs have all been tested individually. My mechanic held down the button for 10 minutes and the plugs didnt heat up the engine at all. The truck will not start in cold weather without the plugs functioning properly. Anybody have any idea as to what the problem might be? Thanks!
