How much does a used transmission cost for mitsubishi diamante 93? ? - someone added wrong oil in transmission and now i need to replace the transmission. MY question is how much will a automatic transmission cost me, for diamante 93 mitsubishi, The pick and pull yard will sell me a used one for 113$ but i dont mind spending 300-400$ just to be sure its a good one. Where can i buy a used or rebuilt transmission (depending on whats cheaper) in San antonio Tx?

1994 Mitsubishi Diamante electrical problems..? - I am looking into buying a 1994 mitsubishi diamante from a private owner and he says that he has had all kinds of things fixed on it not too long ago but it is having some kind of electrical problem...says when he parks it and goes into store and tries starting it again it wont it gives him problems so he has been putting the battery on a charger at night but a few days ago it stopped doing the not starting thing....any idea if this is a major problem or just something minor?he said he has already replaced the altenator.....any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!

Mitsubishi Galant / Diamante TV? Anyone know if they have tv inputs? - Hi there, Im looking to buy a mitsubishi galant or diamante, around the year 1995-1998, these have a tv and gps in them, but apparently have been ripped out when sent overseas to be sold... so , it says that it will need to be configured if i want to do this. does anyone know anyone who does this in new zealand, OR, does anyone know if the car has the video (yellow video cable) input at the back of the screen, so i could just plug in a dvd player? Thanks guys! This is for a Car's tv, not a lounge(lcd) tv

1992 Mitsubishi Diamante (Transmission + Battery Problems)? - Hi. My brother bought a 1992 Mitsubishi Diamante about 5 years ago. 2 Years ago the car started to not go over 2nd gear. He stopped driving it and it's been sitting at my house for all this time. I asked him if I fixed it if I could have it and he signed the title over to me. So, today I cleaned it up and bought a new battery. The old one was corroded but worked with a jump start. It would stall if I let off the gas. I was surprised though when the car still did the same thing after I put a brand new battery in it. I noticed a plastic encased wire connected to what looks like the under hood light that has frayed wires close to the - side of battery not going to anything. Does anyone have suggestions as to what the problem could be? Also, I'm going to have the car fixed. I called shucks and it's about 1200 for a new transmission. I'm hoping it won't cost that much to fix. Can't a mechanic rebuild the one I already have or offer me a rebuilt one for a much cheaper price. I appreciate your answer and I think you're right. I'm still looking for help on the battery issue, though. Does cleaning the connections really make that big a difference? Is a frayed wire near the battery connection my problem? Or could it be a starter issue? The lights won't even turn on. So it's like there's no battery at all until I jump start it, then it stalls at stop signs.
