HELLO Mitsubishi 3000gt buying question? - Ok so I found this Mitsubishi 3000gt ( Base Model ) v6 dohc motor. For $1500.00 about 10 mins away from my house. I would like to know if this deal sounds to good or If I should just make the Purchase...here are some key things in the listing... 1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT non-turbo. I am selling this car because I am moving. My loss is your gain. I bought this car in July 2005. It is an awsome head turning car. Remains all stock except for the K & N air intake. The car runs and drives great. It is Red with a two-toned cloth interior. It is in excellent conditon for being 15 years old and having 135,000 plus miles. 1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT 24 valve V-6 DOHC 5 spd maunual transmission power windows power locks power mirrors driver / passanger air bags Clarion CD player K & N Air Filter System It does have some exterior flaws. It has stone chips on the hood, a small quarter sized dent on the driver side front fender. Also has a small dent in the front bumper cover. I have included pictures so please look at the pics. These are small inperfections but want you know they are there. Now the things I have found wrong mechanically with the car. The turn signals do NOT shut off automatically. You must manually shut them off after you make a turn. The rear wiper motor does not work either. These are the only 2 things I have found wrong mechanically with the car. So what do you think?

Should i buy a mitsubishi 3000gt, eclipse, or keep my 99 mercury cougar? - I'm looking for a car i can soup up... should i stick with my 99 cougar thats running on 140k miles (but still in great condition) its also stock... or should i buy a Mitsubishi eclipse or a Mitsubishi 3000gt... or any other suggested cars i could soup up nicely... im working with around 7 or 8 thousand dollars if i sell my cougar and if i could spend less than that... that would be great but yea any suggestions? appreciate it

what would be better to buy a mitsubishi 3000gt vr4 or a porsche 944 both turbo charged? - if you had a choice of buying a nice 3000gt vr4 with alot of mods to it or a porsche 944 with alot of mods on it and theres both turbo charged which would be better for drifting and straight drags which would be stronger and all around a better buy

Should i buy a 1996 mitsubishi 3000gt with a blown engine, if i intend to fix it up? - there is a 3000gt at this dealership and it has a blown engine. They will sell it to me for about 2k or less. is this thing worth the money? How much would you pay for the car? And how much do you think it will cost to fix it. the salesman says that he can get an engine for 500 dollars but i don't know if i should believe him or not. I am 16 and about desperate for a car. it is an automatic with 99k miles. should i even consider this thing.

Should I buy 1994 Mitsubishi 3000gt with 76k miles on it? - Hello, I am just wondering if I should buy a 1994 mitsubishi 3000gt with 76,000 miles on it. The car is 15 years old but is kept in good condition and has had no major repairs on it. Just wondering if I could get at least 200,000 miles out of it, of course taking good care of it, and if I should buy it. I love the car cause it has a nice look to it but just want it to last and want to make sure it's worth buying. Thanks. Ya I am not really looking for it to be fast I just want a car that looks nice but really won't put a big hole in my wallet. But thanks for the responses! It is being sold for $6100.

What do I have to upgrade/change before turboing my Mitsubishi 3000GT??? - I am about to buy a 3000GT and I was planning on turning it from SL to turbo car. I was wandering what I have to upgrade/ change to the engine so that I don't mess up my engine like all the other race heads. Suppose that I don't want to just go and buy a VR4 engine

If i wanted to buy a Mitsubishi 3000gt? - Would it be smart to get it with around 100,000 miles? or just pay more for one with less miles on it... i mean couldn't i just replace the parts that are worn down with new parts? And if i did that would it last a lot longer or do cars just break down after a certain amount of miles...? sorry if i sound like an idiot i don't really know much about cars..

How much would would it cost to restore mitsubishi 3000gt vr-4? - Now I'm buying a 1996 3000gt vr-4 with twin turbo and all wheel drive. I'm buying one with 150,000 miles. I need to know how much it would be to restore or swap the engine and transmission and where to find the parts. I'm buying for around $6,000 and am wiling to spend another $4,000-$5,000. It is a beautiful car and my dream car so please no comments about get another car.
