HELLO Is a '92 Mercury Topaz worth $800? - I just bought a '92 Mercury Topaz for $800. Nothing is wrong with it, except for cosmetic damage(rust, dents). The Kelly Blue Book is $650, but I dont think that is always accurate. The guy said that like 5 other people called him about it right after he posted the ad. And I know he isnt lying.

How do I remove a stereo from a 1988 Mercury Topaz? - I just bought a new stereo and my buddy can't find the screws in my dash, only 2 little rubber things under my ashtray. He thinks that those are what he needs to remove but doesn't want to mess up my car if they aren't. Any advice would be much appreciated, especially from someone who has actually replaced a stereo in a '88 Topaz. Thank you everyone!!!

Radio Wiring Skematics For A Ford/Mercury Topaz 1991? - I have a 1991 mercury topaz and just bought a cd player for it. took out the old tape deck and cut the wires i am fairly good with splicing but the only problem i am having is finding what wires go where. I know my ground and i know my constant i can't figure out which is the ingnition. The New Radio is a ilo technologies model ca300v if any one can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Different Grill For Mercury Topaz? - My boyfriend just bought a 1993 topaz and doesn't like the grille and was wondering if he could change it. He is aware that the grille from a ford tempo will work for a 1992 topaz.. but will it still work for a 1993?? also is there any other options for grilles from other cars??? anything that would do??

need help removing the power steering from a 91 mercury topaz? - the battery on my 91 mercury topaz wont hold a charge and the alternator belt keeps breaking. We had the alternator checked and its fine so the only other thing that could be the problem is the power steering. right? so we are going to get a new one but its 22 dollars cheaper if we bring in the old one before we buy the new one. so i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to remove it. any other observations about this problem would help too. thanks also, when i try to turn the pulley on the power steering it is impossible to move. is this pulley supposed to be able to spin or does it need to have power running through it? the second pulley that i was told was connected to the power steering has another belt connected to it as well. do u know what this belt is for and could it contribute to the pulley not spinning on its own?

1987 mercury topaz diagnostic testing results...? - I went and bought a diagnostic testing device and it gave me 5 codes: 24o- Intake air change temperature (ACT) sensor or vane air temperature out of range, 13c-RPM at idle is out of range/low, 34c-Insufficient EGR flow, defective EGR pressure transducer sensor and 10- cylinder #1 has a problem! Are any of these things listed a serious problem, and are they easy to fix? My husband likes to work on his cars but I was just wondering myself these questions.
