Looking at buying a 2000 Mazda Protege? - We are looking into buying a 2000 Mazda Protege. It has 78k miles on it. It is the 4cyl engine. We have had nothing but problem cars in the past and we would like a reliable car. If anyone could give me ANY pro's and con's that would be fabulous thank you.!

Where is the speed sensor of my mazda protege 1993 dx? - I recently bought a Mazda protege 1993 dx 1.8L The engine sounds excellent, but when I run it the gears take a long time to shift. I've been searching on the net and it said it might be the speed sensor, since the speedometer isn't working. Also the "Hold" light keeps blinking. If you can help me with this I appreciate it :) Thanks! Joe

can i put a stock spoiler on my 2001 mazda protege? - i bought a 2001 Mazda Protege and wanted to know if i would be able to put a stock spoiler on it. how hard would this be? would the paint match up. ( the car was always kept inside and inst really faded) could i do it myself or should i take it to a body shop?

Unleaded gasoine in older Mazda Protege designed for leaded gasoline? - Hi everybody. I have a question regarding the use of unleaded gasoline in older cars. I have a 1994 Mazda Protege I bought back in 1997 and because of sentimental attachment reasons I would like to keep this car. Back then leaded gasoline was not phased out in my country, and this particular car is a carbuerator engine, no cat convertor, designed to run on leaded gasoline. Back in early 2000s, leadd gasoline was phased out in accordance with the EU laws, and now it is impossible to find leaded gasoline anywhere. I have used unleaded gasoline in the car a few times and did not notice any difference in the way it runs. I was wondering if it is OK to use unleaded gasoline in this type of a car, designed for leaded gasoline ?

What is better for me to buy for my Mazda protege 2003? - Window tint, about $250 $300, have none right now or New rims, about $400 $500, have the black ones with the plastic on top of it. or A new sound system, the right side of my car has no audio(right side is fine though) I have $400 right now.
