Should I buy a 1992 Mazda Navajo? - 1992 Mazda Navajo Im thinking about buying one for about $1000 tomorrow and it needs new shocks in the back so ill be spendin around 1500 total? Should I get that car or not anyone have this car b4 ? why shouldnt or should i get this car? I have 12month old twins so walking? i dont think so

mazda navajo 4x4 1994 i smell gas inside the car but mostly outside. whats the problem? - my girlfriend and i just bought a 1994 mazda navajo 4x4 and we smell gas its really strong outside of the car, but you can kinda smell it in the car. its not showing signs of a leak. my mother says is may just need a new air or gas filter, and the mechanic i bought it from says its been sitting outside for awhile and thats why it smells like gas when it's running. plus the tank is on empty and he says the car could be trying to suck up the all gas and what we are smelling is air from the gas tank. i just want to know what could the problem be? and where is the fuel filter and air filter so i can take a look at them to see if they are dirty? also were can i find a free online manual? thanks everyone...the problem was a gas leak....i guess its in the tank...the gas is a reddish color so my guess is that the tank it corroded or something. i filled the tank with a little bit of gas to check for a leak and bingo there it was. thanks for the help.

Mazda Navajo need to change ignition cylinder w/o keys? - I have a 1991 mazda navajo (same as explorer sport). My mother lost the keys to it and the dealer wants way too much to get us a new one. I bought a new ignition cylinder w/ keys to replace the factory one with. Now of coarse, I can't take out the factory one w/o the key. Any ideas?

What can I do to help my manual Transmission? - I just bought a 1991 Mazda navajo and lately it has been hard to shift from neutral to first. It just gets a little stuck and you have to push hard to get into 1st gear. Once in any gear it runs great but getting there is a little sticky. Will replacing and changing the transmission fluid work or is there a bigger problem i should be worried about?

Why does the dome light in my car stay on? - I just bought a 1994 Mazda Navajo and it had no dome light. I replaced the light bulb but now it just stays on. All the doors are closed tightly and I did the wd-40 trick. so should i take the door panel off and check? i need to replace the window motor anyway on the driver side. is it expensive to fix at a shop?
