What is your opinion on buying Non American cars such as Toyota? - I have really been looking into buying a Toyota Camry XLE. I have heard many great things about it. But, since I am american, should I be buying a GM car? there are many GM cars I am interested in. and i will never drive anything made buy ford unless it is a Ford Edge or Lincoln MKS and i would never buy Chrystler in my life. So what is your opinion on my situation?

S80, Taurus, Sable, Lincoln MKS? - All four of those above cars are based on the same "sister platform". Why buy a Volvo S80 when you can buy a Ford Taurus for a fraction of the cost and it's just as safe and reliable? It's all the same car, just a different name plate on it. It's all marketing. All the mechanical and electrical equipment is the same. How boring! General Motors did this with their Opel Vauxhall which you can now buy in North America as a Saturn. This is Regarding the 2007 and later Volvo S80s.
