Is it worth buying a 94 lexus 300 in excellent condition? - I'm talking to an old lady that has a 94 lexus es300 with only 54k miles on it. This car has obviously sat "garaged" for a very long time and thus is in excellent cosmetic shape. Preparing it to be sold they have placed a new transmission, shift module, water pump, timing belt, tires, rotors, brake pads, and are in the process of replacing the computer system. I have no doubts about their character. Also this lady is loaded, money isn't a issue. My question is should I buy this car over one that is a newer model and 2x the amount of milage price being close.

Where is the oil dipstick on a 1993 Lexus GS 300 engine? - My husband bought me a 1993 Lexus GS 300 and we have been working on it to get it driveable, but can't find the oil dipstick. We've located the transmission fluid dipstick, but cannot find the oil dipstick. If it's one that's on the inside of the oil cap we'll have to replace it.

Which car should I buy: 1997 Lexus SC 300 or 2000 Infiniti I30? - Both have V6 engines The Lexus has 163,xxx miles The Infiniti has 123,xxx miles The Lexus looks a lot better than the Infiniti, but Infiniti is younger than the Lexus. Lexus is 2 door, the Infiniti is 4 door. Which one of these two should I buy? Is $6,995 too much for either of these cars? I live in Washington state.

Am think about buying a 2000 Lexus GS 300....? - The only red flag is that it has 140000 miles on it....it was garage kept and it looks like it is in really good condition. The price is 7K..Need some help here!!!! Oh I forgot to mention that it has 3 new tires, a new timing belt...and all the paper work is recorded at the dealership in terms of what was done to it over the eight years....does this help...what do you think?

I'm thinking of buying a 2001'-03' Lexus IS 300? - I own a truck right now and I'm tired of spending $75.00 to fill the damn thing. After extensive searching I narrowed down to this model Lexus. I've always liked lexus's and I think the IS 300 (5spd Manual) is one of Their best looking lines. I was wondering if anybody had any input on the matter. Is there any major issues associated with this year & model? Transmission issues? Electrical problems? I'd perfer to ask the general public rather than relying on the car makers website. Thanks.....
