I'm planning on buying a jeep wrangler this summer I need info from owners? - I'm shooting for a 97-2003 But I'm not understanding this right, do they come with a hard and soft top? or just one of them? Which engine do you reccomend? 2.5L I-4? or the 4.0L I-6? What are the maintanence costs? Do they have frequent problems? Manual Transmission is my only option I just love it! How do I go about buying a used Jeep Wrangler? - I'm a 22 year old guy from Michigan and I have wanted a Jeep ever since I first began driving. I've saved up around 5,000 to spend on one. I'm looking for a jeep thats a 94 to a 98 with under 120,000 miles and in decent condition with either a 2.8 4-cylinder or the 4.0 6-cyclinder. I have searched for about a week and I have yet to find a good buy. I'm not looking to mod it into an off-road vehicle maybe a small lift and some larger tires but thats about it. My question is what should I look for when buying one and how do I tell what its really worth (aside from blue book value, there's always debate on what the condition of the car really is in). Can someone give me any pointers?

When Buying an older Jeep Wrangler is it better to buy one with an original engine or a rebuilt engine? - I am trying to purchase an older Jeep Wrangler for my husband---I have forund a few out there in my price range---but they either have 150,000 + miles on them or they have rebuilt engines---which is the best way to go??? I am trying to do a nice thing for my husband here and suprise him with this so I don't want to ask him---so any input here would be helpful---Thanks!
