HELLO Should I buy this Jeep grand wagoneer? - There is a 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer that this old guy locally has. it has 187,000 miles on it. the rocker panels are rusted, and the rear quarter panels are rusted(not bad). It runs pooring gas straight into the carb, but I think the fuel lines are bad b/c it wont start with fuel in the tank, what else could this be? It has also been sitting for a little over 3 years. Is it a good idea? the interior is also in very good shape.

1989 jeep wagoneer that I want to buy and will need a motor in a year? How much does one cost? - I want to buy this 1989 Jeep Grand wagoneer that supposedly runs well, but may need some motor work in a year and I want to replace it. This is a car that I want to drive and slowly restore over the next year or two. The cost of the car is 1750. there are 117000 miles on the car, and just a little spot of rust. Any suggestions? also any suggestions on where to get a third row seat to have installed in this? Thanks!

93 Jeep Wagoneer? - Ok so I might have the opportunity to buy a 93 Jeep Grand Wagoneer with 288 K Miles for around $500. This is my husbands dream car.....so I was thinking it would be great to surprise him with it for Christmas. The problem is that I don't know much about cars? Does anyone out there know if it would be worth it to buy one of these with so many miles? How long can these last? Help!!!!

Should I use stiffer shocks on the front of my Wagoneer? - I am buying shocks for my 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, which can use the same type of shocks for both the front and back. The man at the store suggested putting a stiffer shock in the front to balance out the engine weight. Is this a good idea, or am I better off with the same stiffness in the front and back?

1988 Dodge Dakota vs 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer ? - I cant decide on which to buy. The dakota is $1200 with a 5 speed, V6 and 8 ft long bed and the wagoneer is $2000 is an automatic with a V8. They both have a little rust around the usual spots like the wheel wells and the quarter panels. Which get better gas mileage and which is more dependable? I only plan to use either of them as my daily driver. Also, which is easier to find parts for? Both are 4x4 as well.

What kind of new engine will fit in My jeep? - I have a 1987 Jeep Grand wagoneer with a 354 V8. I'm thinking about buying and installing a new engine, but don't know what to drop into it. Not really into fancy modifications, just want a good workhorse to power around the ranch. Any Ideas?
