HELLO I am thinking of buying a used Jaguar XJR 2004. Would like to hear from others re pros and cons of this car? - This is a supercharged vehicle but I am trying to avoid going into the purchase blindly and want to hear from others who own this particular model Jaguar. need some advice before i buy a 1997 jaguar xjr? - this car is mint and has a clean car fax with one owner! also has low miles only 66000! i just wanted to know if there is expesive maintenance that has to be done on this vehicle when it hits a certain mileage? like timing belt or waterpump?

Shall I buy a Jaguar XJR? I love Jags and I want a fast powerfull car so I figured this would be the best one.? - I just want to know the pro's and cons and if I should go for the straight six or the V8. (The V8 appeals to me cos of the 0-60 in 5.3 secs) I know they are expensive to run petrol wise and if they go wrong, but do much go wrong with them? And what should I look outf ro when I buy one? Any other advice would be appreciated too. Thanks, Dan.

Anyone here have experience with a Jaguar XJR? Are these cars money pits? - Just wondering what people who have had experience owning or repairing Jaguars think of the Jags made in the last ten or so years... I am thinking of buying one since it seems that there is a ton of XJS, XJR and other S types for sale. I would appreciate any pointers on what to look for and what to avoid etc. etc. Thanks for the help!

What do you think of the jaguar XJR (older model)? - i need a new car and thought that however impractical it may be, it?s a bit special and maybe I should just go for it. In addition, my mate owns a Land Rover / Jaguar specialist garage and will do any work at trade prices. I know it?s expensive to run and insure but it?s a lovely car, or should I just buy a VW Golf and be sensible? Is a 1999 jaguar XJR a good first car? - I'm almost 16 years old and I have already bought a 1987 BMW L6 (lux version of the 635CSi) for $2200 and now I'm thinking of selling it for $4k and getting an XJR. Yes I can get an XJR for 4k. I initially wanted a car with a manual transmission as I feel it gives me more control, however i'm thinking there must be a point in time during which I just say "if it has this much power I don't really car if it's an automatic" and 370 bhp seems like a pretty good number. What do you guys think?

Many of my friends have fast cars (rx8, 2002 audi s4, rx7,supra turbo 1st gen., subaru wrx)? - If I buy a 2000 Jaguar XJR, will I be able to keep up with them? How fast is the jag compared to their sports cars?
