HELLO Should I buy 98' Infiniti I30 134k miles which declared as total loss vehicle before? - hi, i'm having a hard time to decide whether i should buy '98 infiniti i30, 134k miles for $4000. the major problem is when i look up on carfax.com, the car was declared total loss but no salvage/junk/rebuilt title, which is, confusing. What could possibly be the reason for a car declared total loss without having salvage/junk/rebuilt title? the car declared total loss from the third owner, now the fourth owner is the one who trying to sell.

Thinking about buying a 2001 Infiniti I30 w/127k miles...? - Seems to be in good shape inside & out but I am concerned about the high mileage. Are these cars expensive to maintain? Expensive to repair? Are there major flaws with this model I should be concerned about? Can I expect to get another 75k + miles out of it or am I being completely unrealistic? Help!

Ok, so I'm looking at buying a 2001 Infiniti I30. Here's the deal? - It has 115k miles, not too terribly bad for an Infiniti. It's priced at $7800, very cheap for this car. The problem is, the car needs $800 worth of work, a new catallytic (sp?) converter and air intake something or another. Not a problem. HOWEVER!! The dealer is asking me to split the cost of the repair with them. I told them no way and walked away from the deal. Have you ever heard of a dealer asking you to split the cost of the repair BEFORE you even purchase the car??

I own a 1998 Infiniti I30 and the air bag light came on.? - I bought a 1998 Infiniti I30 arround May 2007 a little after two months the AIR BAG LIGHT came on. I did some research about it on line and I found a forum discussing the subject where more Infiniti owners where complaining about the same. There was a procedure on line to follow if your car did that. The procedure was to turn off the engine triger the door switch and turn on engine. It worked it turned the light off. But my question is what will happen if I was in a accident? And is it really the air bag or just a sensor? I mean alot of owners were complaining about the same. Can all of them have bad air bags?

Nissan Maxima versus Infiniti I30 repairs? - I'm interested in buying a 2000 Infiniti I30. I think that the basics of this car is a Maxima, correct? So i'm thinking that if something needs to be fixed, I could use cheaper Nissan Maxima parts on it and it should still work fine, right?

Which is a better deal on infiniti i30? - I am looking to buy an infiniti i30 and i have found two possibilities. For $5000 i can get a 96 that has a redone body that is very new and shiny and is my preferred color w/120k miles... however it has salvaged title. On the other hand there is a 98 model with 20k less miles and an acceptable color, and perhaps better interior. The price of this is only $2000 more. Which is the better deal? If mechanic checks both and says They have no current or foreseable problems?

1998 infiniti i30 cdplayer Ques wont play..? - i got a 1998 infiniti i30 and bought a plug and hooked everything up but it wont play or the cdplayer doesnt turn on at all i know it works.. its got the factory bose.. wats up ror wat can i do,.? got the right plug it just doesnt turn on.. i put cdplayer in other car and its good..? someone told me i had to bypass amp..???

Which car should I buy: 1997 Lexus SC 300 or 2000 Infiniti I30? - Both have V6 engines The Lexus has 163,xxx miles The Infiniti has 123,xxx miles The Lexus looks a lot better than the Infiniti, but Infiniti is younger than the Lexus. Lexus is 2 door, the Infiniti is 4 door. Which one of these two should I buy? Is $6,995 too much for either of these cars? I live in Washington state.
