They sell for 3000 a pop over here or 2500. What kind of civics shoould i look for? I was thinking the only civics that i can find and make a profit out of is civics with blown head gaskets and messed up engines. I was thinking of buying a, lets say a 1994 honda cx with engine problems, swapping it out with another stock cx engine ( that way it'll change eaasy that i don't have to buy transmissions and stuff, so i can just plop it in ) so that it'll be cost effiecient. If i buy a honda for 300, a engine for 600 or 700 and swap the engine myself, i could sell it for 2500 and make 1000 a pop. It's my boyfriend's car and he's at home with no internet and I'm at work with internet, so he's telling me what to look for. He needs a front suspension upper arm for his CRX. I've looked on ebay and I can find plenty of these but then it lists the models it's compatible with and there are loads of different 1988 CRX's, with different model numbers, DX, Si, VTi etc. It doesn't say anywhere on any paperwork he has what his is. All it says is Honday Civid CRX, 1.6, 16 valve, dohc. So I don't want to buy a part that doesn't fit. Can anyone help? Do we have any old Honda experts out there? The guy told me he bored out the engine 75 over and that it has oversized pistons and upgraded internals, he has also decked the head. The things drives and sounds great! I am wondering where I can find info on what displacement this engine may be being a 1.6L bored 75 over. What horsepower may this thing have, it still pulls at 7000 rpms. Where can I find a site that will give me info on more performance parts and accessories???
