HELLO 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 Transmission Issues? - I bought a 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 about a year ago, it now has only 49,500 miles on it. It has the 6.0L V8 and 4L80 transmission. When I'm heading down the road at 55 or 60, it drives great and runs great, but it seems like it just doesn't want to stay in overdrive. It'll sit in OD until about 65, then it'll go into 4th gear and won't come back into OD unless I either come to a complete stop and go again, or shut the truck off, start it back up and go again...then it's the same story over and over again. I've had the transmission flushed and filled twice, thinking that maybe one of the valves might be clogged, but that isn't the case I guess. I'm going to try some Lucas transmission treatment and see what happens, but the truck has never towed anything in its life...Any suggestions?

what kind of fuel injection system in a gmc sierra 2000 2500 truck. IS it a digital multipoint injection? - I want to convert my truck to e-85 and I need to know what to do to convert it. Do I need to replace gas tank, gaslines , fuel pump and is the fuel system compatible for this fuel. I am thinking about buying a flexfuel system for my truck. Please only serious answers

My 91 GMC Sierra not cranking or starting at all?Plus I haven't started like 3 mon. what seem 2 be the problem - I have a 91 GMC sierra 2500 model. It use to run good. Until I park the car at my mom house and haven't start like 3 or more month. and now it not even crankin or starting at all. I replace the spark plug, check the battery and they good, but no crank. I was thinking maybe it was the alternator. or the battery. The auto store guy told me to try the carb. spraying can, and see if it work. But I think that not the problem. Can anyone help me? please. Other time when I drive the truck to my friend house and try to drive back home the car won't start, try jump start couple of times and about 1hrs later it start. I also check with the Tires LEswab for battery check up they said they battery are good. Any suggestion or things I need to fix my truck again? Also if you have the alternator can you let me know I buy it from you. thank.

Tire Rub on Sierra? - So not just educated people know, the GMC Sierra differs in sheet metal only from the Silverado. The Conditions: I have a 2007.5(New body) GMC Sierra 2500 Duramax. I got a 6" Pro Comp lift kit on it. I put 35 x 12.50 Toyo Open Country M/T tires on 17" Helo Maxx 8 rims. They have 4.53'" backspacing. My body shop did a wheel alignment on it after the kit was installed. The Problem: I have full deflection to the left, but I can only turn the wheel 1 1/4 turns to the right before the right tire rubs nastily on the frame. I talked to my mechanic, and he said he did everything he could. I called Pro Comp and they said that the Tire/Rim combination was the precise size/backspacing they recommended, and that the kit I have has some of the least problems out of any of theirs. They told me before I bought the kit that there would be no rubbing, and when I told them it was, they have no idea why. So, does anyone else have this kit on a new truck? Any rubbing? Any suggestions?

Bull Bar Question, PLEASE answer? - When buying a Bull Bar for a pickup, are all the bull bars the same for all the pickup series? I have a GMC Sierra 2500, and I found a Bull Bar that will fit on a Sierra 1500. So, I was wondering if the bull bars are all the same, and if it was just the brackets that I need to change?
