I just bought a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 pick up and the gas gauge goes nuts? - The gas Gage goes from full to empty, Is there an easy fix for this?

Exhaust on a 2002 GMC Sierra 1500? - I just recently bought a 02 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 with the 4.8L motor. wondering what exhaust would be the best? im tired of it being quiet. Also should i replace the pipes and everything or jsut the muffler.

2001 gmc sierra 1500 4.3 to 4.8 engine swap? - Hi I just bought a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 4.3 v6 and the 5 speed. As of right now its bone stock but i'm looking to upgrade big time. Now I could do mods to the engine but whats the point "its a v6" I was wondering if its passable to swap the 4.8 v8 in the truck. If so what would I need to complete the conversion.

1994 GMC Sierra makes gurgling/rattling noise when stopped and in gear. What is noise? - I bought a 1994 GMC Sierra 1500 with 200,000 miles on it. It is 2WD ext cab ext bed, but when I am stopped at a stoplight the truck will make a gurgling rattling noise that will immediately go away when I start moving. I was wondering if anyone knows what this is? I am thinking maybe torque converter since it goes away as soon as I start moving. Thanks. The nose will occur when the truck is warm, not sure if it does it when it is cold. It sounds like it is coming from either the engine compartment or right below my feet. It almost sounds like a heat shield rattling, but there is a distinctive fluid like gurgling aspect to it. The coolant level was below the cold line in the overflow bottle. I will try filling it up when I get home this weekend. I am not sure why that would only make the noise when I'm stopped and immediately stop when i start to move though.

Why has my 1991 GMC Sierra 1500 stopped shifting into 4 wheel drive? - Our truck has had trouble shifting into 4 wheel drive for a while, but just recently it quit entirely. When we bought the truck used, the previous owner said there was a part in the transfer that if replaced, would solve the problem. Does anyone know what part this might be, or another possible solution, with the winter starting up, 4 wheel drive would be very useful here in michigan.
