HELLO What is the tow/haul button do on my GMC Jimmy? - I have a 2001 GMC Jimmy; bought used; never had a manual. There is a button that says 'Tow/Haul'. What's it for? I recently bought a small camper trailer to tow and I'm wandering if I should push that button when I'm towing the camper trailer?

How to I engage the alarm system in my 2000 GMC Jimmy? - I bought the Jimmy a couple years ago and my dad turned off the alarm system because it kept going off at school. Now I'm on a college campus (more urban area) and my mom wants me to keep the alarms on. 1994 GMC Jimmy starting to have problems, what needs to be done? - We recently bought a 1994 GMC Jimmy from someone and it appeared to be a great truck. My husband took it for a test drive, tested out the 4 wheel drive, there were no problems at all with the truck. About a week later, once we got it titled and in our name it started having issues. The first thing we noticed was a good bit of white smoke while was driving. It's not constant, it just does it for like 30 seconds, then stops. It does it every now and then. When my husband was driving about 75 and let off the gas, the engine was still revving high and then slowed down. He said it was a loud whining sound, he thought the engine was going to blow. Then he started having troubles starting it. He would turn the key and it would make the cranking sound but it would take forever for it to start. Now today the battery light came on. We have had the truck for all of maybe 2 weeks now. What needs to be done and what are we looking at paying? Thanks in advance!
