I want to buy a GMC Acadia for my business and take advantage of the SUV/Truck tax incentive? - This is per IRS AJCA of 2004, section 280F, and section 179. The problem is the Acadia is NOT built on a truck frame. It meets the Gross Vehicular Weight of greater than 6000 pounds, but it is sketchy in the IRS rules of whether or not it is elegible for the 25% first year deduction. How can I tell if the GMC Acadia qualifies for this IRS deduction?

Thinking about buying 2009 GMC Acadia -? - Any ideas? Been a long time since had anything other than Honda & Toyota. Price is near what I want to pay with the perks I I want. However, wonder about the mpg - are they exaggerating? And the resale and the overall opinion. Don;t want the thing in the shop all the time if i get some miles on it... I travel about 350 miles on hwy a month and then city miles. How is the wear and tear? Anyway just wanted people's overall opinion esp. if u own/ have owned one. Thanks!!!

Does anyone know why a brand new GMC Acadia would have rust on the exhaust system? - I bought a new GMC Acadia about a month ago. I love the car, but I noticed that the exhaust system seems to be rusted. I read the review on other Acadias and someone else mentioned this. Has anyone had it corrected yet?

whether i should buy 2009 Summit White GMC Acadia SLT2 AWD for $42800? - MSRP - $46330 it includes, rear view camera with navigation dual sky sunroof 8 passenger all the standard stuff on SLT2 AWD car doesn't include cooled seats and trailer package. i agree with you. discount is not much. but since i am getting 0% interest on financing, dealer is not going much low. Also, its fully loaded. Now what you think? i should go for it for 42800 or bargain for more.

I'm torn between buying a Toyota or a GM, should I bother with GM now with bankruptcy looming? - I'm planning to purchase either a Toyota Highlander or a GMC Acadia in July. I love the Acadia but only like the Highlander. In light of the news that bankruptcy is imminent with GM should I even consider buying an Acadia? I'm worried that GM will shut down its GMC line of cars thus making it harder to resell or repair the Acadia at a later date. Any thoughts?
