How many miles can I expect out of a Ford Freestyle with great maintenance? - We are going to be buying a Ford Freestyle on Monday. It is a 2006 and was a fleet car. It has around 68,000 miles, fully equipped with airbags, etc. It does have some warranty, but I am wondering with great maintenance (which we will give it) how long a Ford is built to last. Thanks for any input. It seems like a great car and it offers everything we need...I had a Ford a long time ago and it got 150,000 miles before dying. Do they still make 'em this way?? :)

Ford Freestyle 2nd row seat swap? - Wow. My first, and probably only question! Looking to buy a 2006 Ford Freestyle. The 2nd row of seats consist of a pair of bucket seats. I have seen this car with a bench seat that seats 3. What I would like to know is this: is the floor in this vehicle set up to receive either type of seat, without modification? Or, to put it another way, can I take out the 2 bucket seats and replace them with the single 3-seat bench seat ? Thank you.

Should I buy this car? Its a 2005 Ford Freestyle? - Hi I was wondering about the Ford freestyle...I am looking into buying it. But I was having second thoughts. Its an SEL and has parking sensors and a nice clean interior. Its a 2005 and has 32000 miles on it and its priced at $13,995. I really never wanted a ford because of there gas mileage and reliability. But this one seems like a nice one and I have two Teenagers and one 10 year old. What is your opinion? And How long will the engine last?

2005 ford freestyle? - looking into buying a 2005 ford freestyle limited with about 32000 miles. Paying around 16. I think its a good deal, but I wanted to know some info about it. How's this car's handling, acceleration, braking, passing power, all that? by the way, this is a FWD one. thanks so much in advance!

I would like to know if I can substitute tire size for my Ford Freestyle.? - I have a Ford Freestyle 2006 with 215/65/17 tires and need to buy winter tires and rims. I am wondering if I can buy 16" tires instead of 17" without voiding my warranty because 16" tires + rims are cheaper than 17" tires. Thanks

Does a 2005 Ford Freestyle have an aux input? - I just bought a cable to connect my ipod to the cars sound system. The only problem is that i need an aux input for it and i dont know if my 2005 Ford Freestyle has an aux input. and i dont know where to look for one in my car. Question on Ford Freestyle? - We bought a used 2005 Ford Freestyle. On the mute button within the radio panel, there's an icon of a phone and I'm trying to figure out if I can set up bluetooth for my phone or not. I looked though the manual but it's not very clear....

Question on the Ford Freestyle? - I'm checking out a newer used Ford Freestyle and am in the very preliminary stages of looking. Does anyone have any opinions on this car? It's a 2005 model with 28,000 miles on it. The amount of driving we do is very light and have averaged less than 10,000 miles on the car we've had over the past 9 years. Does it seem reasonable to buy a car with that kind of mileage?
