Where can I find a Ford Focus Mk2 SVT Body Kit from? - I'm buying a 2002 Ford Focus Silver. I want to replicate the look of the American Import SVT Focus, but i cant seem to find the SVT Bumpers & Skirts ANYWHERE. The only body kits I can find are stupid boy racer kits with wings and rocket boosters, or whatever. I just want the aggressive look of the SVT. Simple as. Any help on where to find these bumpers would be a great help. I don't care if I have to import them from the US, I don't care if it costs me my right arm. Find me those bumpers, PLEASE!!!!

2003 ford focus svt? - just baught a 2003 ford focus svt and i want to start modding it. do any one have any opinions how to start. like cold air intakes and stuff like that. i dont think i want to do forced induction just yet. and does anyone know of any good sites where to buy parts. thanks

Have a question about my friends purchase of a 2003 svt ford focus and him only using 87 octane gas? - His car calls for premium unleaded says right on the gas gauge, he thinks it will be ok to put regular unleaded in it, he just bought the car used a week ago, i told him he is going to tear the engine, up, what exactly if anything will this do to the engine??? thanks for any and all input

Ford Focus SVT vs. VW GTI MK IV vs. Mazdaspeed Protege? - I am thinking about buying a car in this price range, a little under 10k, but I don't have experience with driving different cars. I am wondering how the performance is on these cars. I would most likely not put performance parts on it for a while. I looked at other sites for the protege, and they did not look too reliable, but the focus and gti look like they are. I live in Michigan and wonder how these cars would handle in the snow (with snow tires, or without) The Focus SVT and the Speed Protege are not similar. The SVT had many internals changes, such as the valves and springs, and it has VVT and a dual stage intake manifold. Basically Mazda strapped a turbo on the Protege so it can only run at 8psi, so I wouldn't even be able to upgrade it ever, unless I replaced out all the internals so it could handle more boost. Plus the SVT has a nice getrag 6-speed. Im not saying the protege is deuce, or i wouldn't have asked about it in the question, but they are two different cars. If one gets its performance from a turbo and one is all motor and they have the same hp rating, they must have something different. I have heard many stories of proteges that had their motors replaced at about 20k miles, and many svts that people say are really reliable, so I am not sure because I would always trust Mazda, but I would trust Ford too, and I would also trust a German company, but they seemed to have declined over the years.
