HELLO How do you know whether the O/D button is turned on or off. (FYI, Ford Contour 1999)? - I just bought Ford contour 1999 car. I later realized that the O/D Off indicator doesn't blink when I push the Overdrive button (the green button on the gear shift handle). Is there any other way to know whether its turned on or off. I want to drive with overdrive turned on on highways so that it consumes less fuel and the engine doesn't get heated up.

Ok i just bought a 1997 ford contour question? - Ok i just bought a 1997 ford contour and everything is fine just one thing: when i accelerate the car vibrates is it a loose connection somewhere or can someone explain? it does the shuddering when it is stationary too.

Removing Center Arm Console on 98 Ford Contour? - I recently purchased a 98' Ford Contour and bought seat covers for it. The passenger side is good but the driver side has an arm rest and I cant seem to take it off to slide the Seat cover completely down. Is there anyway to remove the arm rest I dont want to cut the seat cover.

Morning start up problem with a 97 Ford Contour? - I bought a 97 ford contour this past summer, and the first time i start up the car each day, it shuts off by itself after that it starts up no problem for the rest of the day till tomorrow. The 02 and Temperature sensor were replaced but it did nothing.

should i put money into my ford contour or buy a new car? - i have a 1998 ford contour gl. i have about 2 grand to throw into it but do you think that it is worth putting any money into it. Like rims an svt body kit that i was gunna get for like 600. then mabe throw some preformance parts into it or do an engine swap. do you think that it is worth it or should i just save up for a new car if so what kind of car should i get.

How do I set the clock in my 99 Ford Contour? - I just bought a used 99 Ford Contour that didn't come with an owner's manual. The clock is messed up and I have no idea how to fix it. It's got the standard AM/FM radio-cassette player. I tried hitting the clock button, holding it alone and with other buttons and it's not doing anything except switching the display from the radio station to the clock.
