Eagle ViSion Questions & Answers from Yahoo! Answers
HELLO
I bought an eagle vision at an auction, but as soon as I came out, it stop and its getting hot?
-
I think is either Chrysler or Cougar. Do you have any type of warranty when you buy at an auction?
2009-03-14 13:22:27 What do the different color wires mean when installing a radio on a 96 eagle vision? - I just purchased a 1996 eagle vision ESI, and when I bought it it didnt have a radio, so I purchased a cd player/radio, but I need to know what the different color wires mean? Maybe a wiring diagram? I cant seem to find it anywhere on the internet unless I want to spend money. Can anybody tell me? Please no dumb answers, I'm really trying to figure it out. Thanks! 2009-02-23 06:02:26 need help with a 1995 eagle vision.? - i bought a 1995 eagle vision that was in perfect condition with only 70xxx miles on it. i payed 2500. it ran beautifully and looked brand new. i got in an accident however and became aware of how rare parts are for this type of car. i need a new hood, radiator, and a few other parts. if i can find the parts used it would cost me around a thousand bucks. 500-600 for the parts. 150 to paint the hood my gold color. and around 300 to put these on ( my mothers mechanic does things rather cheap for us). i was wondering if you think its worth it for me to spend this cash, a few mechanics said it would be because the car is worth around 4000 because of the low mileage and the great shape its in. but my main question is will the intrepid or concorde parts fit it? the mechanic told us that the radiator and a few other small parts i need will fit but the hood wouldnt. does anyone have any knowledge of this car and could help me out? maybe even a place i could find cheap used parts for the eagle vision. ive checked junk yards within a few state radius. thank you for any help you could give me!!!!! 2008-08-26 20:39:41 Is there any major problems with a 1996 Eagle Vision ESI? - I just found a used one and want to buy it but first want to know if there is any recalls or major defects in these cars. If not then Give it a rating 1is bad 10 is excellent. Thanks for the help. 2006-11-04 17:35:53 1994 Eagle Vision won't start any ideas? - I bought it from a friend who drove it to work one day and when they got ready to go home it wouldn't start.I have replaced the cam sensor, crank sensor and a new fuel pump was put in proir while they had it.The engine turns over but won't fire up.Can anyone out there help me out? 2008-05-22 17:58:28 97 eagle vision firewall opening? - I bought a nice amp to install in my Eagle, to replace the Chrysler infinity sound system. I hit a snag though when trying to run the 8 gauge power cable from the battery to the trunk. I was told the easiest way is to find an opening in the firewall. but I have yet to find one. Chrysler decided to seal them all off... So if anyone knows where i can look for an unsealed opening, or an easy way to get this wire from the battery to the trunk, I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks, CD 2009-01-03 20:27:20 Car horn and cigarette lighter not working? - I just bought a 1996 eagle vision ESI, and I just found out that the cigaretter lighter and the horn seem to not be working. Does anybody know how to fix this? And do you know if its an easy fix? and about how much it will cost. Is it something that I can do on my own? Thanks! 2009-02-23 07:28:12 advice for changing struts? - any advice greatly appreciated. we bought 2 front strut assemblies for a 95 eagle vision. we will have the spring compressor. 2007-03-09 09:16:22 Which car would be best for me to buy? - *** A LITTLE BACKGROUND INFORMATION ON ME *** My car recently broke down for good. I was not anticipating having to buy a new car so suddenly. I'm trying to pay off credit card debts and debts from college so I can finally move out of my parents' house. I don't want to spend a whole lot for a car, but I want something that will last a while and be reliable. I drive a lot (work is a 30 mi away, I work 5 days a week, doctor appt's once a week, 90 mi of driving both ways on that day including driving to work). I'm considered a high-risk driver on insurance until the end of September '09. Anything above a 2006 is too expensive to insure. I don't know much about cars and I've been hearing a lot of mixed reviews on the three I have chosen. Here are the three: *** THE THREE CARS I'M LOOKING AT *** 1. 2005 Dodge Stratus 42,000 mi $6,995 Power everything Cruise control 4 Cylinder 2. 2006 Hyundai Accent 51,279 mi $7,995 4 Cylinder 3. 2006 Chevy Cobalt LS 27,000 mi $9,000 4 Cylinder Cruise Control (I think ...) Comes with GM 100,000 mi bumper to bumper warranty with roadside assistance, etc. *** WHY I CAN'T DECIDE *** Chevy's seem to get mixed reviews. Some really like them, some think they're junk. Same for the Dodge Stratus. Some really like them (like my dad who knows a lot about cars), some don't (my boyfriend who said the Stratus was built after the Intrepid, which was built after his crappy Eagle Vision.) The Stratus also gets mixed reviews on Edmunds.com. A lot of people seem to have transmission problems with them. Accents get good reviews. Even though the Accent doesn't have the best mileage in the bunch or a warranty, the reputation makes me notice it. The awesome GM warranty on the Cobalt and the extremely low mileage is a huge threat to the other two, however, my 65-year old mentor (pretty smart guy involved in politics, economy, etc), says GM is on its way out, and while someone will inevitably buy it out, my warranty might not be any good. Does anyone have any input on this? Any suggestions for which car I should pick? /*** RESPONSE **/ I know that Toyotas and Hondas are the best. I really want a Toyota Yaris, however, they are newer models and not only cost more, but I cannot insure them. Honda Civics, even years old and with lots of miles on them still run around $15,000 ... wayyyy too much. Same with Nissans. I have looked into them all. I don't want to spend over 9k and I don't want to get a car older than a 2005. Autotrader is where I found these three. I live in Indiana. 2009-01-06 09:47:56 Repair or parts? - I bought my first car a while ago, and just wanted it too much so i didnt really look into the details. I handed over cash, and took the car. It was running fine, but when I went to get it saftied and e-tested, it failed miserably. To get it up to standards, I would have to spend more than I paid to buy the car! So I didnt do it, but kept driving it around, and it broke down 5 times within a month. The last time, it wouldn't even start and is now sitting in my driveway without plates or anything. I am a student, and need the money badly, and can't just have it sitting there for no reason. Right now, it cranks but doesn't start. I need money for tuition, but don't have time to put work into it. Should I sell it for parts, or would it be better to get it running and sell it off as is. I know either way Id be loosing money on it, since I wouldnt ask for what I paid since it has all those underlying problems, but how much is a car worth for parts? Its an Eagle Vision if that matters. Sorry, im not sure how to reply to my own question, but Its from 1993. I have no idea whats wrong with it, so Im not sure if it will cost more to get it fixed, and then maybe not sell it for as much as I can get for parts, and plus add all that work. Ive got some suggestions so far that it could be the coil wire or cpu, but how much would those cost to figure out and fix (plus tow)? 2007-10-09 22:52:15 |
