Considering buying 2002 Dodge Stratus and looking for input? - I am looking for a dependable car and came across a local private seller with a 2002 Dodge Stratus. They are asking $3200 which is right in the range I am looking to spend. They have had the car for a few years and say they have all the maintenance records for it and it has been garage kept all that time. I am going to look at it this afternoon (pictures look great for both interior and exterior). Anyone have input on this? Things I should make sure to look at when checking the car out? There are 110,000 miles on it BTW. Thanks for any tips you can offer. Greg

What can cause the timing belt to break on a 2000 dodge stratus? - I have a chance to buy a 2000 Dodge Stratus sight unseen. The seller says the engine turns over really fast as if the timing belt is off or broken. Is there a common problem with these cars that causes belt failure? Also, is it an interference engine?
