1988 dodge ramcharger? - i am looking at buying a 1988 dodge ramcharger. it is a V8 318 w/ automatic tranny. 4x4. it has a 3 inch lift with 33" boggers. 78000 original miles. are these dependable trucks? i will be using it for a daily driver and occasional offroad trips. im 17 years old also, so put that into play.

Would I be able to install a hood ornament on an 84 Dodge Ramcharger? - Im buying a 1984 Dodge Ramcharger and its missing the Ram hood ornament (was never built in) so I was wondering if I was able to find one, then how hard would it be to drill in and install? Also, how good of a year was the 84? All I ever see or hear about is the 1990 edition. And as much as I would love to have that one, I cant find any in my price range. Also, I have no Idea if the ram is a 'slant 6', all I know is its a '1984 Dodge Ramcharger AW-100 5.2l'. If that is the Slant 6 then how can I protect the distributer from water splashing? I live in NE and more often then not I drive in a lot of rain with a lot of wet roads and mud (great for muddin though)

my oil sending unit needs to be changed on my 93 dodge ramcharger. where is it located? - my mechanic friend looked at it after i lost all my oil but i wasnt home to see,he told me to buy the unit 'with guage' and oil, and a PCV valve. he's busy and i may be riding my bike a long time if i wait for him to put it in

My 84 Dodge Ramcharger doesn't have dashlights, what should I do? - I just bought a good 84 Dodge Ramcharger, it runs perfect and I love it. But tonight I noticed that their are no dashlights, aside from a small built in lamp about the radio, about 3 inches away from the speedometer, rpm, and gas gauge. I could see non of them at all. I toyed with the light controls but found nothing again. Just headlights and a light that turns on that tiny little lamp. Am I missing something and there ARE dashlights or do I need to buy and install a new rpm, speedometer and gas guage that light up? Thanks.
