Should I buy a Dodge Ram Van? - Right now I'm currently thinking of buying a van and taking it on a long road trip with friends after high school graduation. I also want to put a bed in it so that I don't have to sleep in a motel at night. And after my roadtrip I can use it to haul around equipment because I'm starting a band soon so I could use a van for touring. The model I like is the Dodge Ram Van. The older models are pretty cheap, but I'm sure they will need some extra engine work. Is this a good model to buy or is there an even better one out there for me? Suggestions would be nice, as I don't know much on this subject.

Is it a good idea to buy a used Dodge Ram 3500 van with 197k miles on it for $2500.? - Owner says it has been well maintained but how many miles does the average dodge van have until death? This van will be used maybe two to four days a month. Van is a 1997 Van is a 97 model and owner claims it has been well maintained. I was just wondering what is the max amount of miles ever put on a dodge van before it dies. This van will be used 4 days a month at most.

Just bought a 92 Dodge 350 Ram Van and I have having trouble figuring out what it exactly is!? - Ok, bought a 92 Dodge Ram Van, is is super long, so what I am wondering is, does that make it a Ram Van wagon? How do I tell if my van is heavy duty (HD)? It says that is has a heavy duty transmission. I am just trying to get the right tires on it. One website tells me that it takes 225/75 R16, and that is the size it has on it. Another place tells me to get 235/85 R16. If you have any insight in this let me know! It has a 360 5.9L engine if that helps at all. And I also need to know is, will I be able to use the same rims even if I get 235/85 R16. I have 8 lug tires.

Repair on 1989 Dodge Ram Van? - My son bought a 1989 Dodge Ram Van 150, B series. His belts came off and now he can't get the belts on. he says its a V belt, anyone know if this is normal as in, original on this model or has someone modified it. Know where we can find a diagram on line?

2000 Dodge Ram van tires for 16" rims? - I just bought a 2000 Dodge ram conversion van that has 16" rim with p225/70/16 tires, I want to put a bigger tire but I need to make sure it won't hit, the factory size tires are 235/70/15" so what size can I get away with using the 16" rims on the van now, thanks

92 Dodge Ram Van 350 Troubles with tires or something?Transmission? Lifters? - Ok, here is the deal. I bought a 92 Dodge Ram 350 van. It is a 1 ton. It is extra long. I bought it to haul carpet in. The tires that came on it were 225/75/r16. They are 8 lug rims. These tires did not look right for the van considering we needed to haul heavy loads in the van. We ended up going with a little bigger tire, 245/75r16. We bought a set from a guy and the tires came off of a 95 Dodge Truck. The tires fit on just fine except when my husband drove it to the store, there was like this ping, ping, and it only did it when the tires were moving. Is there anything say mechanically that could be causing this noise? Maybe with my transmission???? Any help will be greatly appreciated!. Any help The van handled better, new tires.

i bought a 1987 dodge 15 passanger ram van should i sell it? - the van now has a locked rotor and some wire problems. it runs great, and other than the problems mentioned is in great shape. the van only had 82,000 originals miles on it. a friend of mine said that was low for a van like that. with the rising gas prices and the repairs that need to be made does anyone think this van is worth keeping?
