HELLO What do you use to take off the cap to a Dodge Omni fuel filter on the outside of the gas tank? - Is there a special kind of wrench that you use to take off the cap located on the fuel tank? It looks like it twists with a special tool, what is the tool, what is the size, and where can I buy or find it?

old dodge omni airbag? - i have a 1990 Dodge Omni and the air bad came out and every one i talk to tell me it's against the law to drive around with the air bad hanging out i just want to know is it or not i live in Michigan USA if i can't drive it like that. can i just buy a new steering wheel one what don't have a air bag in it? or do i have to replace the airbag? please kelp ASAP

any old dodge omni or plymouth horizon parts? - i'm looking for a fuel tank sendind unit for a 1990 Dodge Omni i have called all the parts stores around my part of michigan i even called junk yards and they tolded me they have nuthing that old only place i no that has it is the dodge dealer and they want over $260 just for the sending unit i have put a new fuel pump new gas tank on it all it needs is a sending unit dose any one have one i can buy or no and place whier i can get one at? please kelp

Dodge Omni GLH? - i know some one who is selling a 1986 Dodge Omni GLH for $500 the guy just rebuild the motor 1 year ago and the rebuilt motor was only 10K on it the car has 238K on it and all it needs is a floor shifter and i fould a floor shifter for $100 should i buy it or not and it don't have alot of rust note how go of a car was they when they was new? please kelp i have to let the guy no ASAP i own a 1990 Dodge Omni and it's a good lit car it only has 104,000 on the clock

similar to shaky 99 ford but a little different...entire car shakes? - I recently bought an '89 Dodge Omni which sometimes (not very often) gets really jittery and shaky when I step on the brakes...it isn't the steering wheel or the brake pedal but the entire car shakes like the force of the car is too much for the brakes to slow down and I'm picturing the brakes just kind of skidding on the...wheel...? I'm not very car smart. But it also does it sometimes when I accelerate which makes me think it has nothing to do with the brakes. The couple I bought it from thought it was the cruise control (which doesn't work) so to keep it from doing that they shifted it into 2nd from D and they said it was fine. Any input? I don't really feel like hitting anything/one. :-)

question about junking my car help? - i am buying a 1989 Dodge Omni with over 300,000 miles on it my friend was asking $75 but he told me he would take 50 for it just now so i told him i would but it all i want off the car is the front bumber hood and the front fenders and maybe the to front seats the car still runs and has a manaul trans. How much $ will a junk yard givel me for the car after i take what i want off it?? please help ASAP

1990 Mustang GT 5.0 Lighting Problem? - I own a 1990 Ford Mustang GT 5.0, its the fastback model (i refuse to call it a hatchback, hatchback brings to mind the image of a Dodge Omni...) anyways i bought it right after an engine swap and there are some problems with the lights. for starters, i dont have headlights, sometimes the dims will work, but now they quit. The brights work if you pull back on teh signal stem, but not if you use the dash switch. also i have brakelights and signals and reverse lights, but no normal taillights. is this all possibly caused by a bad switch? or is there wiring issues? also i have no interior lights or dash lights. i have already checked my fuses and bulbs, all are in working order. if you have any ideas please let me know! Thanks!

ENGiNE HELP? - I am thinking about buying a piece of crap old dodge omni, but the clutch for the AC compressor is frozen. will the car still run as is? or do i have to buy a new one? how much would it cost to fix it?

how do i go about selling my car? - ok i drive a 1990 Dodge Omni and my wife is the owner her name is on the title and back in Oct some car hit me and all the body needs is a hood and a bumper and a fender and a airbag and this week my wife was telling me she wants to sell it but only thing i was thinking is do we have to sell the car AS IS and tell who every buys it it's for parts only? it still runs good and drives good it's just to to safe to drive any more what do i do? please help

insurance company total me car? - the insurance company total my 1990 Dodge Omni it only had 104,000 miles on it it still runs and drives all it need was a hood a fender and a bumper they told me why they total it was cus they can't buy the parts for the car any more witch they lie cus i went to the dodge dealer and they have all the parts for about $250 is thier any thing i could do? they have not sent the $ yet but i'm going to ask them why they lie for? and if i fix it can i still drive it? i live in michigan please kelp asap
