I'm buying a used Dodge Caravan 2001-2004, any tips?

I'm a mechanic myself, but never worked with Chrysler. I'm planning to buy a used Dodge Caravan and I'd like to hear from people better familiar with Chrysler products - what should I look for (technically)? How is the transmission on these cars, what are the common problems with these cars? Any tips to keep it running longer? Thanks!
