HELLO Am I the only one that regrets buying a Daewoo, considering parts are nearly impossible to get? - I have a 2003 Daewoo Nubira, bought new. Naturally the warranty ended 2 months ago, and i find myself with a slew of problems. Took it in for some new tires found out the arm(?) for wheel with some bushings is worn out and needs to be replaced. Both front tires. This will cost me nearly $400 in repairs, not including alignment. Now here is the catch, it has been like this for some time (according to repair shop)Daewoo parts are hard to come by and usually take a good 2-3 months to get. I did not believe him and called Chevy dealership where i purchased vehicle and 2 other repair shops. Both told me the same thing. I want to know other peoples views on this vehicle and if they are running into same problem. I am thinking of just getting rid of it before i have more problems. Any one ?

I am looking at buying a '99 Daewoo Nubira Cheap but one of the valves is blocked ..Is it worth the buy? $$$ - The car has a blocked valve so I'm told, I was wondering if anyone had an idear on how much we would be looking at to fix? I know this is not a small problem but the car is in perfect condition otherwise and extremely cheap, Would it be worth fixing or to much trouble??? Thanks

Is a DAEWOO NUBIRA a Good Car Worth Investing Money Into? - IM INTERESTED IN BUYING A 2001 DAEWOO NUBIRA FOR $2100 ON CRAIGSLIST. Due TO POWER OUTAGE IM UNABLE TO SPEAK WITH MY UNCLE, WHO I AM SUPPOSE TO CONSULT WITH WHEN I FIND A CAR I LIKE. HE IS CONCERNED WITH CAR'S SAFETY STUFF FOR EXAMPLE...... Is a DAEWOO NUBIRA Wagon a good car? - I'm interested in buying a 2000 DAEWOO NUBIRA Wagon, with 94,xxx mi. for $2500 to replace my old 1994 Saturn SW. I think I can talk a price down to $1,800- $2,000. The car looks good and has a lot of features for the price but I'm not sure about its reliability? I'm concerned if I have to spend a lot more money in repair later on. I did some reserch on Edmunds.com. Some people said good things about it but many people don't recommend to buy the Daewoo. I have limited budget at this time and the price is right for me. Is it worth investing the money into? I plan to keep it for a few yrs and after that time I should have enough money to buy a nice newer model small SUV, maybe RAV4 or CR-V. Any comments and suggestions would greatly be appreciated. DAEWOO, NUBIRA vs MAZDA, 626? - I want to buy a secondhand car and have found two. Can anyone tell me if the DAEWOO, NUBIRA CDX SERIES II [2000] is a good car to buy or should I just get an old MAZDA, 626 ESTATE [1992] which is cheaper anyhow. Or should I avoid them altogether and just get an SUV.

2001 Daewoo nubira? - i have a 5 speed manual trans daewoo biggest mistake ive ever made buying this car. I think the clutch went out but not sure. It drove and shifted fine til going to work one day. It started to get harder and harder to put into gear until I could no more. So I replace the slave and master cylinder which kinda helped but with in a few miles I had the same problem. So I bled the system checked for leaks and no issues. the rod that gets pushed from the slave cylinder moves about a 2 inches when I compress the pedal. What are you thought could it be the clutch or bad tranny? clutch and get rid of it. Sounds good to me the damn thing is a piece of crap. Radio stopped working, windows wont roll down and no cruise control. Pile of junk

whats wrong with my daewoo?!? - Ok so i bought my 99 daewoo nubira about 2 weeks ago and 2 days ago it started to crap out. I was driving along and all of a sudden all of the electrics cut out, the indicators, hazard lights, radio, electric windows etc and then a couple of seconds later the engine cut out. Then it took about 5 minutes and the car started up fine again. Then today it did the same thing about 4 or 5 times but then i couldnt get the engine to turn off, like i could drive along without the key in the ignition!! Then a couple of minutes later the engine would cut out and it takes about 10-15 mintues to start again. It is driving fine when its going but when it stops i lose all the electrics and the engine! Im taking it to a mechanic on monday. Just wondering if you know whats wrong
