Problems getting my 2000 Daewoo leganza to start..Any suggestions? - I recently bought a used 2000 Leganza CDX. I replaced the alternator, starter, and battery. When I try starting it, all of the lights on the dash come on, and the starter clicks, but it won't start. When I first started noticing the problem, it would take 5-10 times of turning the key, then the car would start up. Now it won't at all. Do you have any suggestions of what the problem might be?

What am I to do with a Daewoo Leganza with unknown problem? - My folks were sold on the idea of buying the Daewoo sedan, a Leganza, about ten years ago, when the brand was first introduced to the American car market from Korea. They absolutely loved it. It had many good qualities. However, the company has since tanked and the CEO has run off with the assets. GM was to take over production with a new model name, but now, maybe not. Owners were told that parts for the car would be available for about ten years after manufacture date, a requirement for any newly introduced vehicle. Now the car has developed an engine problem, resulting in a "messy" (i.e: smokey, noisy) stall on the freeway, which was temporarily Jerry-rigged to adequately limp home. My question: what can be done with this car now? Should we try to sell it for parts, or just junk it--haul it away to the scrap yard? Body's still in good condition, but no shop can work on the engine due to lack of parts. Your honest opinion and/or suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gary

Daewoo Leganza Sedan? - Heres the rundown, 8 yr old Daewoo Leganza Sedan bought from Morrie's Daewoo here in Brooklyn Park MN"if you know it". It was Creampuff perfect. Have had it 2 yrs with the nessacary up keep. 2 weeks ago starts leaking coolent, not streaming flow, but steady enough to leave puddle if parked for more then 2 hrs. Going to take it in to the garage, but they are closed for the night. Help to figure out what it is. Its the only car we have access to for the whole family til its fixed. Any assistance is appreciated, just dont tell me to get it in we know that already. And will ASAP, just really weary of mechanics after our last fiasco with Goodyear and FIRESTONE screwing us over. Thanks all, really thanks We would get it to my nephew whos cert.trained to work on Daewoos but hes in Spooner WI and we dont want to take the chance of breaking down between here and there with no way back home. Col- hun we would do that but we dont know if the leaks on the Rad or the hose has a leak in it. But good suggestion, hes gonna try scooting under the car to look as we actually have some of that..thanx Hey guys thanks for your answers and I totally understand your not being able to post your Employer. We actually got lucky and Another Goodyear garage is looking in to our problem which with a general lookover its a hose problem. Which they will get fixed in the am. Thankgs again hagn
