Buying a 1998 Daewoo Lanos- Australia? - im in need of buying my first car and it has come down to crunch time. my only choice is between a 1998 Hyundai excel (148,000km) for $3100 and a 1998 daewoo lanos (60,000km) for $4800. i can afford either one, and i really prefer the appearance and condition of the daewoo but i am constantly being told about how Daewoo became bankrupted in australia and that it will struggle to get the car fixed if anything goes wrong. is this true or will a mechanic be able to fix it? and are there more con's than pro's? thanks for your response!

i have bought a 1999 daewoo lanos that wont start. I bought the car knowing that there was a problem? - i knew there qwas a problem with starting the car, i was told it was the ignition. i had a guy to check it out, he has put new starter motor on, still no luck, the car will start on bump or jump and will run until turned of with the key. i was told i needed and imobiliser key, and then i was told you would not be able to drive it if this is so, im confussed could somebodyn help

Does anybody have a Daewoo Lanos owners manual for a 98 model? - I have just bought my first car, a Daewoo lanos sx 98 - Auto. It hasn't got a handbook (owners manual). I know, I should have thouht of that!!!! I have no idea what the tyre pressures should be or the engine levels etc. Does anybody have an owners manual they could sell to me please? or know of anywhere I could buy one from? Thanks

I was driving down the road and stoped at a light when the light went green i went to take off and NOTHING the care tries to turn over but doesnt.
