HELLO Chevrolet Lumina 1996 model, why does Security Light glow on dashboard even after the car has started? - Have a Chevrolet Lumina 1996 model. Bought it second hand and was fine for the 40 days I owned. Then I noticed the Security Icon on Dashboard stays ON even after the car has started. The same used to come on and go off earlier, after the engine started. Now a days, the same stays ON. Can someone please help me?

What could I get out of a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina LS? - I have a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina LS with minor hail damage, 179,686 Odometer Miles, Dent in the Driver Side Fender, Cracked Windshield. I replaced the engine when I bought it and got new spark plugs, short ram air filter, and I also bought a Dual iPlug Radio and red LED underbody lights, it runs smoothly as new. What would this thing be worth? Would it be worth trading for a running Suburban with very bad interior?

Chevrolet Lumina 2006 CD player does not play songs i have converted and burned onto CD? - I have converted MP3 format songs and burned them onto CDs but they will not play in my car CD player, although when i checked the same CD on a Toyota XA (2006) it worked very well and without problems. I also tried the same CD on another 2006 Chevrolet Lumina with the same specs and the same sound system, it played on that too. In my car it will run all CDs that i buy from the market but not the ones i burn. please help.

How can I find the blower fan resistor on a 1995 Chevrolet lumina van? - Should I work from under the hood or should I work from inside the passenger compartment? If inside the passenger compartment is it behind the passenger side glove box or behind the radio? If under the hood do I need to take out the blower fan? I bought the Hayes book and it doesn't even mention the resister so the only info I have is by looking at the part and it looks like it seats against thee fire wall but I havent been able to find it by looking.

Should I buy a 1993 Chevrolet Lumina? - The Lumina Has 218,000 Miles on it. Runs great interior is not in bad shape. Some slight cosmetic damage not bad though. The seller is asking 300-400 for it. Should I purchase this car?? It has a 3.1 Mpi Engine in it. Engine and chasie are fine. The Brakes need a little work and the dash doesn't look so good but it can be fixed with a 30 dollar dash cover. Should I buy this anyway? Transmission is great needs to be drained though. I really want to purchase the car. No electrical problems. All windows and door locks work. A/C wipers lights, etc. it was taken good care of my my neighbor. He's givin me a good deal on it. 30 mpg! Good gas millage! GREAT PRICE IS IT WORTH IT??

It's not top priority, but it is something I want to have fixed eventually. Anyone have any ideas what could be the problem?

1998 Chevrolet Lumina? - My '98" Lumina turn signals won't work, auto doors work some times, and car keeps seeming like it's gonna run hot. I turn on the air conditioner to cool it. My mechanic has told me several times that he has no idea why it's running hot and has run several diagnostic test. I am going to see about buying some fuses today to see if that may be problem. Any suggestions?
