HELLO is this cadillac de ville a good buy or no? - okay so i found a cadillac deville 1998 concours edition, and its really nice with 79,000 miles on it. the carfax and autocheck are both good on the car. and its only $4000 list price. this is in my price range and its is a very nice looking car in great condition. however the kelly blue book value on it is $7,000. should i be worried about this, or should i feel confident with the carfax and autocheck and just buy it?

1962 Cadillac De Ville? - Can I sell our car for as much as my husband thinks? $15,000. He says he has seen worse on Ebay and Craigslist sell for almost 20. He can exagerate. She was fine when we bought her. She runs great, but at a high idle. No matter what we do to time her, she still has a high or low idle. There is starting to be some cracking in her paint. Whoever painted it, did a poor job. Her body is straight. But as for the inside, the interior. Well, there is no interior. Nothing but springs. He had the dash bored reupholstered. There is a cancer spot on the driver side floor pan. About the size of a salad plate. Yes, you can see mufflers. Ha ha. Our eyes were burning like you wouldn't believe. Oh yea, I bought it for $4,000.

Can you hook an audio amp to the secondary battery in a 2000 cadillac deville? - I just recently bought a 2000 cadillac De Ville and im trying to figure out if I could hook up an audio amp to the secondary battery under the rear seat. I havent checked the CCA amps or anything yet but its a 1500W amp with 4 guage wiring if that makes a difference. Worse comes to worse can I hook up just the negative then put the positive all the way up to the front battery? Please help :D Its a battery that powers a seperate fuse box also underneath the seat that powers half of the cars electrical so im assuming its constantly charged also this cadillac has a 300hp engine how is that not enough to spin the altenator??

The ABS light and traction control light stays on after having replased my brake pads on my 1998 Cad De Ville. - I replaced the brake pads and rotors all the way around on my 1998 Cadillac De Ville. Everything seemed to go together just fine. The brakes work fine but now the ABS and traction control light remain on, on the dashboard. I tried unhooking the battery in hopes that this would clear some kind of computer memory code, but after reconnecting the battery the lights remain on. The other problem I have is that the brakes I installed are raybestos and they make a slight squeal noise during acceleration. The guy at the auto parts store said that these where their non noisy brakes. I used the antisqueal tube that came with the brakes and applied it to all the recommeded areas but they still make a squeal sound. Did the guy at the auto store recommend the wrong brakes? If anyone has answers or suggestions for my two problems it will be greatly appreciated. Please don't e-mail me if you want to tell me to buy a new car or to stay off the road. Thanks, Michael
